Sadly, I was a victims of braces and chronic allergies as a kid, plus I snore and have developed a maladaptive way of eating and drinking. I notice I feel more relaxed and I can stand straighter when I consciously push my tongue to the roof of my mouth, and I produce more saliva.

The only trouble is, it’s impossible to control where my tongue sits when I’m sleeping, which I fear is half the whole problem. Anyone have experience addressing this?

Most of that change he had is due to his weight loss. Some people retain a lot of fat in their face and others hardly change at all. For those that do have a lot of fat, when they lose weight they look like a totally different person. 2 Cents.
