I'm amazed at the quantity of Japanese gay porn out there. It seems like every able-bodied young man has appeared in it -- FAR more than in the US. And they don't seem to be shy or hesitant about bottoming either. I'd love to know more about how homosexuality and bottoming are perceived in Japanese culture.

The pressures of Japanese education do not allow for normal child development. Therefore, once the kids get through school and begin careers, they go crazy - a delayed adolescence. Of course, it extends to pornography, especially bondage ( not sure why).

I am the one who lived in Japan and always posts about Japan. I never heard anything about his sexuality but he was definitely mobbed up.

Ok I looked at the link at r7. It's an interview with an old guy who owned a gay bar in Tokyo in the 60s. It seems plausible enough, it doesn't seem like the kind of thing someone would lie about at the end of their life.

R14 From what I understood Ken had a "secret room"there and he was the one who used to go to this gay bar most often but that guy knows "nothing" of course, they only had parties at night , and takakura was clumsy at dancing. We are supposed to believe that?

It says that the guy who owned the gay bar said that he never had carnal relations with Takakura and that the women who were married to Takakura said they never had sex with him either. It seems to me the author implies that he was gay but never acted on it, or if he did act on it the gay bar owner doesn't know anything about it. I don't think this was written to deny gay rumors.
