Eminem Is "Stressed" About Mariah Carey’s Upcoming Memoir and Worried She Thinks He Was a "Selfish Lover"
Mariah Carey is gearing up to release a memoir (wow, we are not worthy), and apparently her ex-boyfriend Eminem is freaking out about it. Truly not the celebrity news anyone expected to be reading this morning, but here we are!
“Eminem’s Achilles heel has always been Mariah Carey," a source tells Us Weekly. "They had a very toxic relationship. He knows that Mariah is going to say very negative things about him. He is expecting the onslaught, and almost welcomes it.”
Apparently, Eminem is particularly worried that Mariah could write a bunch of personal details about their sex life. “Marshall is stressed out that Mariah is going to say sh*t that he was bad in bed or a selfish lover because he has always been very insecure about that,” the source said. “She knows that.”
For those of you who didn't know Eminem and Mariah Carey even dated, they were linked in 2001—and Eminem confirmed the relationship during an interview with Rolling Stone in 2002, saying (via Complex) "There's truth to that. But on the whole personal level, I'm not really feeling it. I just don't like her as a person."
They've since slammed each other in their music, most recently when Eminem dropped these lyrics about Mariah's ex-husband Nick Cannon on "Lord Above” in 2019:

Aware that this is all fabricated for publicity by agents/media to sell clicks, is it...weird that I kind of ship them, anyway?
Though I wouldn’t wish an abusive bisexual brain-damaged mess like Marshall on any woman, admittedly they both have in common that messy lunatic streak of denial and delusion. Dare I say it but there’s chemistry there. Then there’s the way they both seem to relish negative attention on a similar level, share a predilection for black cock, and can’t stay permanently on the wagon or away from the limelight. Oddly I can see them making a go of it together in a trashy dysfunctional amusing way, and I think it would be great entertainment for a few years before it all imploded and went totally Whitney/Bobby. This is money, and had they got together a decade ago could have been almost hot in a squeamish verboten classless way.
I’d also be interested to hear them collab on a track, just for the novelty of hearing a pop Queen sing over a flow from the Court Jester of rap. It would be interesting. Of course, there’d have to be a prior understanding that neither expect anything wholesome or lifelong out of the partnership, for business or pleasure.
