I really think that we’re in a new age where staying closeted is not deemed acceptable by anyone under the age of fifty.
Cory Booker is a bit of a cornball but he’s also extremely bright. I think he would have had great success politically if he had come out. What do you think?

He probably still wouldn't have won the nomination, but he might have been able to make a bigger impact than he did.
Ironically for Booker, an openly-gay man, Pete Buttigieg, ended up seizing the moment and finishing 1st in Iowa and 2nd in New Hampshire.

A gay man becoming the nominee (let alone winning the Presidency) is probably still a few election cycles away, but as Pete demonstrated, yes there was room for a gay person to make an impact and finish in the top 5. Pete did that.
The problem for Booker is now that he's said he's straight, it makes it more difficult for him to come out as gay next time around. When the Dem party does eventually nominate a gay person, it probably won't be Booker.

Everyone says he’s gay but offers no evidence. Surely there’s no way he could think that he could have pulled off being president with gay skeletons, with all the scrutiny..he’d have to be foolish. What if he’s just asexual or just bad with with women or shy or weird?

I think he's straight. I would like to think that he has a hefty thick cut penis with a big juicy head.
