Has he lost any of that weight yet?

I think it's a cool think to do. Actors being pressured to change "ethnic" names should be a thing of the past.

Big mistake. He will get called in for every drug dealer role being cast and nothing else.
Hollywood is not enlightened. This will cost him. In any event, search your own family tree. You'll find dozens of family names that are part of your heritage. It's silly to be tied to any one of them.

He's as soft and pale as the Pillsbury Doughboy. I don't see him as Scarface.

There you go, R6. He gets called in for those roles because his name is Rodriguez. Then he doesn't get the job because he doesn't look "Hispanic" the way that Hollywood needs him to look.
He's white and doughy and has blue eyes. If he's well established with his agent and his agent is willing to do a lot of extra work... then he might survive. But when he was starting off in the business, he absolutely had to change his name. No question.

He's the new Cameron Diaz!

He's not a Gay?

R11, I don't know about now but I think for several years he was in a relationship with his "Psych" co-star, Maggie Lawson.

I hear you bro. I also don't get parts because I 'm Mexican.

Good for him.

Some of you have no idea who James is. He's well established as a TV actor. His agency is not going to put him up for Gangbanger #4.
