I stopped flossing a year ago and started using the Water Pik. My dentist hasn't noticed any changes.
Do you floss?

No, but my dentist said if I don't like to floss to get an Oral-B 8000. I always thought electric tooth brushes were just a gimmick. BUT WOW, using it feels like you just got your teeth cleaned professionally. And the results are great.
It is a bit pricey for a toothbrush though at $150-$180.

Never. Never a cavity either.

Not a flosser, never have been. My teeth are very close together, and the floss breaks the times I've tried. Brush works just fine.

I floss with actual floss instead of the floss sticks. The sticks cannot curve left and right around each tooth like the string can.

Yes I floss twice a day after brushing my teeth.

Your dentist has written you off as non-compliant.

I started being more diligent at 45. Really too late - and my mouth still bleeds like crazy. One of those things that I’m accepting as low priority - with so many threats to me life as I age, it seems like I need to stop being terrified of so many things.
