I was four years old and remember watching it.

According to Deirdre Hall, she was also 4 when she played Electra Woman.

Decades went by & life went on.

Electra Woman tanked her career when she threatened the Justice League with an EEOC lawsuit. Wonder Woman, Black Canary and Zatanna closed ranks REAL fast. But she shared the patents on some of those electragadgets and was able to fade into a life of wealthy obscurity. She dated Automan and Matthew Star but her most enduring relationship has been with Jack Daniels.

Dyna Girl failed to rebrand herself as a solo crimefighter and went through some tough times. She was living in a trailer park until Isis paid for her to finish her degree. She went back into journalism and eventually became a tv producer in Atlanta. A nice lady, she's stayed in touch with all her foes and it's rumored that her musician husband is actually reformed supervillain Glitter Rock.

Wonder Woman and Super Girl were better known. Deidre Hall is famous as Dr. Marlena on Days of our Lives. I think she's been on since the show started in the early 60's.

I heard they double teamed Billy Batson in ‘76.

by Anonymousreply 6July 8, 2020 4:44 PM

They became lesbians and moved to Portland where they opened a dried flower store called Autumn Memories.

[quote]I think she's been on since the show started in the early 60's.

She joined Days of our Lives in 1976.

Dee wasn't born until 1976...how is that possible?

by Anonymousreply 9July 10, 2020 1:51 AM

R4 I guess Hawkgirl (the JLA's third female member) supported her from the sounds of it.

Were they eaten by Sugmund the sea monster?

by Anonymousreply 12July 10, 2020 3:52 AM

No one liked Hawkgirl. Zatanna might be a mind-erasing bitch but at least she doesn't shit on newspapers.

BTW, Dyna Woman's sexual adventures have been exaggerated over the years. (No, she didn't pop The Hardy Boys' cherries. No, she wasn't the reason the Micronauts broke up.)

But it's true that even after she retired she was pulling some grade A super D. I don't want to get sued but I can confirm she slept with MOST of the following: Billy Batson, Blue Falcon, Manimal, Jaime Summers, Thundarr the Barbarian, Puma Man, Man-At-Arms, The Savage Dragon, Brother Voodoo, Captain Planet, Booster Gold, Vibe, Princess Amethyst, Fruit Pie the Magician, and Gene Simmons.

Each worked for a magazine

by Anonymousreply 15July 10, 2020 12:50 PM

They flew off to Lezzieland

by Anonymousreply 16July 10, 2020 1:06 PM

Was it Playgirl magazine?

Did they offer a good retirement plan?

by Anonymousreply 17July 10, 2020 1:07 PM

They learned the hard way that dick was their kryptonite!

by Anonymousreply 18July 10, 2020 1:10 PM

Hall wore that ridiculous shit but not an AIDS ribbon?

Jesus.

The labiamator was the best weapon. For a few days in the summer, little girls on our block ran around with colorful plates killing people at will with power bursts.

by Anonymousreply 20July 10, 2020 1:26 PM

I love r11. Thank you!

Electra Woman retired from crime fighting and became a psychiatrist. However, she married a superspy secret agent so she still has strong connections to crime fighting. As a result, she is kidnapped often, most recently by a 69-year-old one-eyed man brainwashed into thinking he was powerful 80something megalomaniac. But luck is always on her side as her secret agent husband always saves the day

by Anonymousreply 23July 10, 2020 2:05 PM

Was this before or after the Devil possessed her?

by Anonymousreply 24July 10, 2020 6:54 PM

Dyna Girl became a cunning but brutal overlord at CHAZ.

by Anonymousreply 25July 11, 2020 3:27 PM

R13 The early 2000s Justice League show made

many of its fans Hawkgirl lovers.

by Anonymousreply 26July 11, 2020 4:43 PM

But then Season 1 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow made the Hawkgirl fans go scurrying back into the closet.

by Anonymousreply 27July 11, 2020 4:48 PM

They remake anything.

Looks like the new Dyna Girl's superpower is speaking to the manager.

by Anonymousreply 29July 12, 2020 12:54 AM

Well her superpower certainly isn't being superfunny.
