Yellowstone: Why Isn't This DL Catnip?
Fucking HOT sexy cowboys!
A bitchy, drug-addled, ass-kicking diva!
Relevant anti-racism storylines!
FUCKING HOT SEXY COWBOYS!!!!
I thought Kevin Costner was a psycho Republican but he refused to vote for Trump. He's one of the producers of this show which has STRONG anti-racism storylines throughout the series.
And the men...

I DVR'd both the first and second seasons, and then watched them once the season was over nonstop. We will see what happens this season.

Any gay anything? Was watching Dances with Wolves and wanted more KC.

There actually might be a gay cowboy, the Black one.
Previously, I thought he was in love with the character played by Ian Bohen, but guessed that I was just reading a gay subtext into it.
But last week, some new whore cowgirl tried to get the Black cowboy to screw her, and he kept refusing her. She accused him of wanting to “drill” the butts of the other cowboys.
It probably won’t happen, but maybe!

Does Ian Bohen get nude on the show frequently?

Not supporting any of this endless hetro crap these studios churn out. It's the only voice I have, small as it may be. Tell me when the main character sucks cock and maybe I'll give it a go.

OP no one is talking about this because you need linear cable to watch this and no one has cable anymore. You can’t even get Paramount Network a la carte like HBO or Showtime. You need a cable bundle. And not a skinny bundle, one of the big ones.

Actually, the show looks fantastic -- it's shot on location, so the setting is amazing and the cinematography does it justice.
Unfortunately, the writing is mediocre ... three seasons in and I still don't know what the Wes Bentley and Kelly Reilly characters are all about. Surprising, because the show was co-created by (and many of the scripts are written by) Taylor Sheridan, whose scripts for the movies "Hell or High Water" and "Wind River" I really liked.
I am distracted by Cole Hauser's hair dye and weight gain this season, though.

I hate Luke Grimes' Native American wife. Her character changes every single episode.
It seemed she was going full-on with her heritage in one episode and then the next one she was completely down with whitey. The writing for her is awful.
Kelly Reilly also changes every week. I think they tried to tame her down but she was boring.

Cole Hauser is so damn hot in this. True story: WAY back in my early 20s (2002-ish) I was living in LA and decided to try acting for a summer. Hated it. Hated every minute of it. But I had soap opera good looks and got a manager almost overnight. Cole Hauser was my manager's star actor. Super nice guy. He'd took me drinking a few times and we had a blast hanging out. Interestingly, I've always like men from 45-55, so he wasn't my type back then at all. But now? Big yes.
That's about how close I came to fame and fortune and possible sex with the very hetero Cole Hauser.

You might not think it to look at him now (at age 68), but Gil Birmingham was a hunk! When I worked at Universal Studios Tour in the '80s, he was one of the Conans in the live-action Conan: Sword & Sorcery Spectacular.

Haven’t seen this, but maybe I should given how much I adored Costner’s acclaimed 2012 History Channel miniseries HATFIELDS & MCCOYS.
Everything about that show is beautiful, from the score to the cinematography to the period details & characterisation. Probably won’t be your bag if you want buff cowboy eye candy, though Matt Barr is sweetly winsome, and Costner sort of Daddy in the right light. Bill Paxton (RIP), Mare Winningham, Tom Berenger & Jena Malone all give fantastic performances.
In fact, my annual September rewatch of HATFIELDS & MCCOYS (for its autumnal Hellbilly/Appalachian aesthetic) is up very soon. It always comes around so fast...

I am, R53! November seems so far away. Ugh.
Paramount is making a spin-off/prequel series (written by Sheridan) called "Y: 1883" about the Dutton family's journey to Montana. Starring Tim McGraw, Faith Hill & Sam Elliot.

I just finished watching all four seasons available on Peacock TV. I started it on Thursday or Friday, and stayed up late nearly every night since (it's Tuesday night as I write this). I found the fourth season less than compelling. Jamie's storyline confounds me still.
But the rest of it is terrific. A paterfamilias more awful than Victor Newman. A daughter even more psychotic than Phyllis Summers. Kind of like Dallas, only with horses and cattle. And Luke Grimes plays the preferred son, though he has had run-ins with his father that would have had me leaving home.
Not much in the way of humor, really.
