R21 I still have a scar on my hand from when I was pecked by a rooster as a 4 yr old. I didn’t do anything to provoke it. I was just petting a hen.
Nice thread OP!

So adorable R30! Now I want a beach cat!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | 07/18/2020 |
R31 I believe it was mentioned on one of the cat threads that cats with ancestors who fished and swam still like water today and tend to drink water or milk with their paws.
Leopards are swimmers too if we’re talking wild cats.

R37 lol he was really polite and waiting patiently like any other customer. Seems the customers knew him or at least over here people would be highly surprised to see one in a shop.

These kinds of videos make my heart smile in this cold world filled with cunts.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | 08/06/2020 |
R9, I've never seen a corgi do anything except smile! Those 2 are like The Honeymooners -- yelling at each other constantly but never coming to blows. What the hell is going on in China?
by Anonymous | reply 85 | 08/06/2020 |
R90, not so sure the cat's showing happiness. My cat used to howl right before throwing up.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | 08/08/2020 |
R91, I've read that purring is an involuntary reaction to stimulus and can indicate either contentment or fear/anxiety. We had a cat who went stiff with terror in the car ride to the vet, cowered trembling in his carrier with his eyes shut during the waiting room ordeal, then purred so loudly in the exam room when a stethoscope was pressed to his chest that the instrument registered no other sound for the vet ("Didn't he used to have a heart murmur? I can't hear anything over this purr!"). We never did know whether he was expressing bliss or horror, though it's true that every animal did adore that wonderful vet (RIP, Dr. H. -- everybody and everything misses you every day).

Squirrels also purr.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | 08/08/2020 |
R98 thanks that was so Heartwarming! For once we entertain the dolphins!
by Anonymous | reply 100 | 08/11/2020 |
R101, oh yes because forcing pets act like circus animals is so heart warming. The dog didn't seem too happy to ride the bike in that awkward and dangerous position. One slip during the ride and he might lose a paw or even his life. And I guess he was taught the act more or less violently since I didn't see much tail wagging which would suggest he's enjoying playing even a little. Now he just seemed terrified for his life. And the face mask... ugh.

Since people can no longer visit the Texas State Aquarium, the animals have been getting bored. That is, until the dolphins were visited by sloth Chico, and fell in love. For a video, go to the end of the article for Chico's tour of the aquarium.

Not videos, but still photos of wildlife interrupting wildlife photographers on the job. Worth a look, and I don't think I'd let bears get that close to me, but . . .

A little bit of context about this video. There's a company that makes realistic looking molds for ice cream and sells ice cream cakes from them, which is what they're eating here. The real dog is clearly mortified.
