Back off the brownies, frau cunt OP.

Male and lean but thank you for your concern R2 I did once try a brownie.
The reason I asked is because my Facebook feed is suddenly filled with ads for coolsculpting.

Facebook is trying to tell you what you refuse to accept.

It works by freezing the fat cells, they get damaged and will be absorbed into the body as waste. It was discovered after a hiker got severe frost bite on thier stomach and the results were they had lost most of their belly fat. It causes some bruises due to the damage to the tissue.

But I don’t really think it works as advertised.
I know a guy who tried it. Still looks pretty fat

a know a guy who had coolsculpting, he didn’t think the results, even months later when the body had time to rid itself of all the fat cells, were dramatic. He later had lipo which gave him a much better result. If I’m going to spend the money (which I don’t have and anyway Indont really need it) I’d have the lipo.

The problem with lipo is recent studies show the fat grows back elsewhere on the body

My esthetician tried several treatments with the prospect of offering it to her clients. She said it was more painful than she expected and not at all effective.

I had good results, and the fat has stayed off for four years. I’m thinking of having it done again, to fine-tune some areas, when my dermatologist starts offering it again post-pandemic (whenever that is). And yes, I successfully dieted and exercised, but there were some stubborn spots that wouldn’t go away.

does it work with jowls?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 4, 2020 9:13 PM |
R11 Jowls are loose skin, so no.
R8 They say with lip you must combine it with a butt lift and put the fat there or you can get moobs.

From what I understand fat cells are like sacks, they hold fat until needed and we are all born with a certain amount of fat cells. when you gain fat, you create more fat cells, when you lose weight, you empty those sacs but never lose fat cells. The only way to rid the body of fat cells is lipo or some sort of damage to the cell wall of the fat cell like freezing. If you get lipo the fat does not grow back other places.

I spent a lot of money getting cool sculpting on my double chin and it didn’t do anything. It may have diminished the fat pad slightly, but I think I’ll have to get a chin/neck lift to solve the problem. Wish I had saved my money for that instead of wasting it.

It's not that "the fat grows back other places" but when you do gain weight it will collect in the non-lipo'd areas, while the lipo'd area will not amass much fat. I am fairly certain this is the rule for any fat-reducing technology be it Coolsculpting, Light Rx, SmartLipo, etc.

I know a guy who tried that for his double chin and was disappointed as well, I felt bad for him because I think it was like $3k for the procedure. His money doesn’t grow on trees and I bet he wishes he had it in the bank now.

RealSelf is a great website for reading patients' assessments of various elective procedures. Lipo tends to rate higher than the non-invasive forms of fat reduction.

I read that Coolsculpting was discovered by two doctors who noticed that small children who ate a lot of popsicles developed dimples. Not sure whether that story is apocryphal or not.

r18 no it was developed as a result of severe frostbite. The kind where the skin turns black. It was discovered when the patients had recovered they had lost most of their abdominal fat (one patient had severe frostbite on his stomach). Not really something you would want to do to yourself.

I’m looking forward to the thread describing the carnage when one of the fats on here buys a canister of nitrogen and tries this at home. “well, I watched the doctor freezing the venereal warts off my boyfriends ass, and it wasn’t rocket science.”
