Patty Hearst lookalike and husband point guns at protestors in St. Louis

She really does look like Patricia Hearst.

They're calling them Dockers Dan and Pistol Patty on Twitter.

Oh, did I mention they're both lawyers?

by Anonymousreply 115July 12, 2020 10:00 AM

To be clear, the protestors were on their street and some of them were on their lawn.

by Anonymousreply 1June 29, 2020 4:07 AM

The protesters were on the couple's property, so the couple had every right to do what they did.

by Anonymousreply 2June 29, 2020 4:08 AM

Look at the cankles on her

by Anonymousreply 3June 29, 2020 4:08 AM

So I guess they were standing their ground.

by Anonymousreply 4June 29, 2020 4:14 AM

GET OWFF MAH LAND!

by Anonymousreply 5June 29, 2020 4:16 AM

Is that some sort of a mausoleum they live in?

by Anonymousreply 6June 29, 2020 4:25 AM

Uh, she has her finger on the trigger. They most certainly do *not* have every right to do what they're doing. "Criminal brandishing" is one term for it.

"Missouri State Law Carrying State law does not prohibit the open carrying of firearms, but does prohibit exhibiting “any weapon readily capable of lethal use” in an angry or threatening manner in the presence of one or more persons. Mo. Rev. Stat. § 571.030.1(4)."

by Anonymousreply 7June 29, 2020 4:28 AM

This tells you everything you need to know about them and their house.

by Anonymousreply 8June 29, 2020 4:31 AM

These "protesters" went through a gate that was clearly marked private property.

I applaud them for letting these "peaceful protesters" know what was up.

Missouri is an open carry state and also has the Castle Doctrine.

After seeing this, I am definitely buying the pump action shotgun I want.

by Anonymousreply 9June 29, 2020 4:42 AM

They'd also been drinking (their drinks are still visible in one of the pictures). And neither of them has any clue how to handle a gun.

Don't know why these people wouldn't support the Defund the Police movement since they clearly think vigilante justice is perfectly fine.

by Anonymousreply 10June 29, 2020 5:17 AM

"Brandishing is unlawful use of a weapon and a Class D felony in the state of Missouri."

And yet you know the protesters would get a harsher sentence for trespassing.

Nice trigger discipline assholes. You know he's hoisting his gunt up now and rutting on her after their exciting adventure.

by Anonymousreply 12June 29, 2020 5:26 AM

The resemblance to Patty Hearst really emphasizes the feeling that they're from a John Waters movie.

by Anonymousreply 13June 29, 2020 6:14 AM

Is Dockers Dan holding an AK 47?

by Anonymousreply 14June 29, 2020 6:41 AM

Are they Jews? If so the crowd was in no danger. Outside of Israel, Jews are not good at handling weapons. Jews or not, they appear to be (1) drunk and (2) parvenus. Next.

by Anonymousreply 15June 29, 2020 6:52 AM

The CUNT in Cuntess Chocula's name is accurate. She should add Stupid before the word Cunt.

by Anonymousreply 16June 29, 2020 6:59 AM

Wow, his dick is THAT small, huh?

by Anonymousreply 17June 29, 2020 7:00 AM

What type of gun is that? Good, lord.

by Anonymousreply 18June 29, 2020 7:01 AM

[quote] did I mention they're both lawyers

They know their rights.

by Anonymousreply 19June 29, 2020 7:08 AM

If you read the Missouri statutes, you see that a subsequent section states that brandishing does not apply when someone is defending their own property, thank goodness.

by Anonymousreply 20June 29, 2020 7:22 AM

I'm really surprised the old broad didn't shoot somebody. Or her fat foot.

by Anonymousreply 21June 29, 2020 7:23 AM

She's pointing the pistol at hubby's head. Some people should have security guards rather than trying to do it themselves. Pathetic creatures.

by Anonymousreply 22June 29, 2020 7:46 AM

[quote] She's pointing the pistol at hubby's head. Some people should have security guards rather than trying to do it themselves.

Maybe they hadn’t planned for rioters showing up on their doorstep that day.

by Anonymousreply 23June 29, 2020 7:50 AM

R23 Yes they planned, poorly, and are armed. They are more of a danger to themselves and each other than to anyone else.

by Anonymousreply 24June 29, 2020 7:58 AM

Not my taste for decor but it’s a beautiful house they spent 30 years restoring.

The protestors were on private property. End of story. There was no reason to pass the gate on this house. They were in the wrong and it’s only going to scare people away from supporting them.

by Anonymousreply 25June 29, 2020 8:43 AM

I don't know who is the more deranged in this story.

by Anonymousreply 26June 29, 2020 8:49 AM

So protesters were on private property and had no right to be there - but the optics of these two, probably half in the bag, stumbling around & waving their guns is a mixture of comical & pathetic. It figures that they are lawyers (i.e. gold star assholes)

by Anonymousreply 27June 29, 2020 9:18 AM

Finally, the role that will earn Mink Stole her well deserved Academy Award!

by Anonymousreply 28June 29, 2020 3:41 PM

r23, I think if you own guns you should take the time to learn how to use them safely. I know this would disqualify 99% of gun owners....

by Anonymousreply 29June 29, 2020 4:18 PM

Apparently they have donated to Trump, as well.

They live in a community with a gated entrance, and protestors broke open the gate to get to the mayor's home (on the same street or next street over).

by Anonymousreply 37June 29, 2020 4:40 PM

Seriously - anyone would be upset if a bunch of protestors feel they can come on to your property and won't leave.

The same shit would happen in a black neighborhood if a bunch of people came on to your lawn and would not leave.

This is not an issue.

by Anonymousreply 38June 29, 2020 4:43 PM

[quote] I read on Twitter they are Democrats and that they are representing someone in a police brutality case. Is this true? If so, why are protesters outside their house???

An angry mob isn’t expected to be rational.

by Anonymousreply 39June 29, 2020 4:48 PM

My first reaction wouldn't be to point AK-47 at anyone. But, keep trying, R38.

by Anonymousreply 40June 29, 2020 4:50 PM

We don’t know yet if he had a selection of firearms to choose from to protect his wife and home, do we?

by Anonymousreply 41June 29, 2020 4:54 PM

You can tell she has never shot or held a gun before by the way she is handling it. The man does not have an AK-47. He is holding an AR-15 semi-auto. They can be retrofitted into automatic, but that makes them illegal unless you have a license for it.

by Anonymousreply 42June 29, 2020 5:00 PM

Unless you’re very well trained, it’s actually worse to have firearms lying around to protect you. Often the intruders end up using the owners’ weapons against them. Get a security guard you dumb fucks!

R40 - do you know what they did first? No, you do not.

You're assuming they just ran out there with guns right away. There must have been some discussion prior to this.

And, like I said, guns would be drawn in a lot of neighborhoods in the US - even black neighborhoods.

The “castle doctrine” applies only when a person is on their own property and in imminent physical danger. Someone trampling on your lawn to go protest in front of someone else’s home is not demonstrating life-threatening behavior.

by Anonymousreply 52June 29, 2020 5:44 PM

[quote] The “castle doctrine” applies only when a person is on their own property and in imminent physical danger. Someone trampling on your lawn to go protest in front of someone else’s home is not demonstrating life-threatening behavior.

Not according to Missouri law.

They weren’t just “trampling” on the lawn either. Watch the video. They were already trespassing on a private street. From there they opened the pedestrian gate to this specific house. If they were trying to get to the mayor’s house there was no reason to go through this property.

by Anonymousreply 53June 29, 2020 6:27 PM

R53, The actual Missouri statute at issue is, predictably, near-gibberish, but if you follow the interacting subsections, it’s clear that, while there is a presumption that a gun toting homeowner is merely using “protective force,” the state can overcome that presumption and show that your behavior in murdering someone over grass was unreasonable and that you were not actually in danger.

by Anonymousreply 74June 30, 2020 2:26 AM

By presenting their firearms, the two of them were able to fend off the violent mob that had broken into their property and had stated they intended to kill the couple. The couple had called the police, who didn’t show up, and it was only their bravery and weapons that saved their lives.

by Anonymousreply 75June 30, 2020 3:57 AM

The article at R25 says that the house was originally built for Edward and Anna Busch Faust. It's probably at 1 Portland Place. If you look on Google street view, there's a wall along Kingshighway Blvd. and the entrance to the street is fenced in but not much of an obstacle to determined protesters.

by Anonymousreply 88July 2, 2020 6:50 PM

by Anonymousreply 89July 2, 2020 6:56 PM

As long as they have permits and have gone to a qualified gun range under a licensed instructor to learn proper firing, carrying and safety techniques, there is no reason they can't have them. by Anonymousreply 90July 2, 2020 7:52 PM

Patty would never wear horizontal stripes. Even in captivity she was fashionable.

by Anonymousreply 92July 2, 2020 8:24 PM

R90 If they had an instructor, they forgot not to point a gun at each other.

by Anonymousreply 94July 2, 2020 8:27 PM

by Anonymousreply 96July 2, 2020 8:36 PM

by Anonymousreply 97July 2, 2020 8:48 PM

The protesters should have taken that opportunity to ask for employment applications! Opportunity missed.

by Anonymousreply 98July 2, 2020 8:51 PM
