I have some. I'm going to bust them out soon

I suspect this is a trend that's gonna pick up more traction than we think. People really ARE getting sick of the cloth/paper masks.

by Anonymousreply 6June 29, 2020 2:29 AM

Just get an empty large water bottle. Saw off bottom. Place over head.

by Anonymousreply 7June 29, 2020 2:34 AM

Just add some dark sunglasses, and we can ALL look like we are participating in a menacing paramilitary operation.

by Anonymousreply 8June 29, 2020 2:40 AM

Yes, r6, people really ARE getting sick of the cloth/paper masks. And some people really ARE getting sick BECAUSE OF A LACK of the cloth/paper masks.

by Anonymousreply 9June 29, 2020 3:51 AM

I bought 25 of these for $99. Definitely think they’ll help (especially with a mask) and more practical for the office than wearing a mask all day at my desk. So far I’m still working at home but when the day comes, I’m ready!

R6 Thanks for the new information, Iowa Dipshit.

There's a reason medical workers wear these. Plus a mask.

airlines should retry this concept

Wouldn't a person have to take the plastic covering off to cough or sneeze?

by Anonymousreply 15June 29, 2020 1:20 PM

No, because you're meant to wear a mask with it.

by Anonymousreply 16June 29, 2020 1:22 PM

If I had to fly, I would wear this along with a mask.

by Anonymousreply 17June 29, 2020 1:31 PM

When the cunt Corona makes her grand return in the fall we should all be ready with one of these. Plus the cloth mask.

by Anonymousreply 18June 29, 2020 1:41 PM

and caftans

by Anonymousreply 19June 29, 2020 1:43 PM

Return? She'll never leave. She's like Stevie Nicks on AHS Coven.

by Anonymousreply 20June 29, 2020 1:44 PM

Everyone in the food industry should wear these, and should've been wearing one even before Covid.

by Anonymousreply 21June 29, 2020 1:48 PM

The guy in the photo looks like a male Karen.

by Anonymousreply 22June 29, 2020 1:50 PM

I had one they're terrible. You think talking to someone with a mask makes it hard to be understood wait until you have something that actually reflects your voice back.

by Anonymousreply 23June 29, 2020 2:04 PM

learn to clearly annunciate

by Anonymousreply 24June 29, 2020 2:06 PM

Here's another variation of a face shield. That chin piece would drive me nuts though. Plus I would hate to keep having to wipe these down whenever I cough or sneeze. I get bad seasonal allergies, and it would be rather gross having to walk around with snot drippings on it...

Yeah

by Anonymousreply 26June 30, 2020 1:00 AM

I saw someone wearing a face shield last week and thought it looked strange but some people have a hard time breathing with a mask. Mine started giving me acne. I assumed it's the type of soap used to wash it.

by Anonymousreply 27June 30, 2020 1:06 AM

I thought it was just me. I broke out badly with my regular cloth face mask. I would change it everyday but I couldn't control the acne. I had to cut down the hours at work cause of that.
