It's odd that Jodie had to go to a deposition with him in the room. He became violent when she said they never had a relationship and he was physically removed.

I think I read they have now changed that law so people don't have to face an attacker like that.

Understandably, but there were different rules of how the press approached her private life vs that of just about every other major celebrity.

Hinckley was delusional, I don't imagine he thought a simple thing like Jodie being a lesbian was a problem, she would be so impressed by what he had done she would fall madly in love with him. I mean the whole idea that even if she was straight she would become attracted to him because he killed someone is the definition of crazy.
