Let's be Social Justice Warrior in the workplace

I'm a purple hair non-binary female that supports Bernie Sanders but work at a large corporation.

by Anonymousreply 123July 14, 2020 1:30 PM

uh, no

by Anonymousreply 1June 17, 2020 1:20 PM

Hard pass.

by Anonymousreply 2June 17, 2020 1:21 PM

I’m straight white female crowing incessantly about BLM and “Defund The Police” who lives in a gated community and hasn’t met a black person who earns less than 100k.

I’m also the first person to call the police over a noise disturbance after 9pm.

by Anonymousreply 3June 17, 2020 1:24 PM

I am the woke blogger who bitches about how Asian men are emasculated in Western Society. I also like to engage in race play with offensive race play with my White boyfriend.

by Anonymousreply 4June 17, 2020 1:28 PM

I'm a right wing troll using my office computer to start divisive identity politics threads on Datalounge.

by Anonymousreply 5June 17, 2020 1:36 PM

I am a DL reader laughing and agreeing with R5.

by Anonymousreply 6June 17, 2020 1:54 PM

[R6] Not a troll, my co-workers are too cringy with the SJW stuff to point it comes off as insincere.

by Anonymousreply 7June 17, 2020 2:00 PM

I’m an avowed communist who lives in a brownstone and works for Goldman Sachs.

by Anonymousreply 8June 17, 2020 2:03 PM

I want all films pulled where white men are in red face playing indians!! I want these pulled now.

by Anonymousreply 9June 17, 2020 2:08 PM

r5, DL isn't blocked on your office network?

by Anonymousreply 10June 17, 2020 2:23 PM

Ah, that's the genius of it, R10! I'm a right wing troll working at a liberal, "woke" business. I like to bitch about SJWs but I don't mind benefits coming from working for those cultural Marxists!

by Anonymousreply 11June 17, 2020 2:26 PM

Lets be honest. Without these "SJWs" the POS assholes would feel free to spew out their hatred as they always did. So.....

by Anonymousreply 12June 17, 2020 2:30 PM

This thread is literal violence!

by Anonymousreply 13June 17, 2020 2:31 PM

I’m R11. Anyone who has an opinion different than mine or a simple critique of it must be a rightwinger or a Russian Bot.

by Anonymousreply 14June 17, 2020 2:34 PM

I’m the MAGAt coworkers who make fun of the gays when they leave the room. Then we take off our masks & deliberately cough & hack into the air so it will be contaminated when they come back. We give each other thumbs up & the ok sign. We’re all going “camping” this weekend but it’s really our militia group meeting up and shooting songbirds in the woods.

by Anonymousreply 15June 17, 2020 2:35 PM

[quote]I'm a right wing troll using my office computer to start divisive identity politics threads on Datalounge.

100 100 100

And FUCK YOU AND YOUR HIDEOUS MOTHER, OP.

by Anonymousreply 16June 17, 2020 2:37 PM

R14, it depends of what that difference of "opinion" is. Most SJW dont care if you hate the color blue over white. But, if you have POC, well.......

by Anonymousreply 17June 17, 2020 2:39 PM

And that’s just it, R17. Mocking SJWs for performative activism is one thing. But of course you make “difference of opinion” translate into “the opinion must be that you hate POC.” Clearly the post had nothing to do with that.

This is why there’s a thread on DL making fun of SJWs and their cringy, incendiary fake logic.

by Anonymousreply 18June 17, 2020 2:47 PM

Well, R18- what "difference of opinion" do you think a SJW would take on, if NOT a socially corrupt "opinion"? Ice cream? What?

This thread is OP’s only post. Y’all are being trolled hard.

by Anonymousreply 22July 4, 2020 12:52 PM

R16 - Not skilled in the irony game, are you, pet?

You aren't, perchance, the Klan Grannie troll trying to get all the threads about Meghan Markle shut down?

by Anonymousreply 23July 6, 2020 11:52 PM

OP, you're just missing the septum piercing to add ugliness to injury.

by Anonymousreply 24July 6, 2020 11:57 PM

I'm a pasty, white, overweight single gal pushing 40, but I've turned my cube into a Black Lives Matter shrine. My biological clock is ticking, and I'm secretly hoping to get pregnant by a black guy and have a cafe mocha baby named Orlando or Nairobi.

Let's be an obese Trump voter who attacks "social justice warriors"

I'm his tiny dick and tiny brain

by Anonymousreply 26July 6, 2020 11:58 PM

I am divided on this because I worked on a very liberal campus in an office that dealt with student concerns with content taught by profs. Our school was full of SJWs. Some of them brought forward content that was obviously wrong or very discriminatory against people or complaints of profs who said / did really inappropriate things and we were glad to know so we could connect with the profs and 're-educate' them.

On the other hand, we also had many who were hard to listen to with a straight face. Those who felt pain on behalf of some oppressed group they aren't part of over very appropriate content, students upset they didn't feel the prof created a safe space for them to share their pain or struggle, so many request for trigger warnings and excused absences, requests for profs to skip relevant and appropriate course content because some might find it upsetting, students who didn't feel profs had any right to an opinion different from their own etc.

by Anonymousreply 27July 7, 2020 12:06 AM

I'm the Chick Fil A restaurant the staff hits for lunch at least once a week. Thank Oprah we can still get Grubhub delivery until the on-site dining returns.

The SJWs in the office at first argue against this but the sammich is just TOO tasty to hold out against for very long.

I'm Linda. I'm married to a man and have 4 kids, but I'll be identifying as "queer" because I kissed a girl once in college, but sold out and settled for the heteronormative lifestyle in the suburbs. Being queer is all I have to hold onto to make me feel edgy.

by Anonymousreply 29July 7, 2020 12:28 AM

I’m a children’s book editor worrying that the phrase “boys and girls” is not inclusive enough.

by Anonymousreply 30July 7, 2020 12:34 AM

I'm the next 8 years of your life.

by Anonymousreply 31July 7, 2020 12:38 AM

Hi my name is a, I hate white men, i love white men I hate white men I love white men I hate white men, I love white men. White men are all racists, why wont they fuck me???

by Anonymousreply 32July 7, 2020 12:48 AM

I’m the statue of George Washington Carver standing outside the building. I’m getting a little nervous. None of these young office workers will bother to look up who I am, but I fear they will expend a lot of effort on trying to get me removed.

by Anonymousreply 33July 7, 2020 12:49 AM

I'm the genderqueer nonbinary who dresses like a Times Square prostitute from the 1980s. If an actual biological woman dressed like this in the workplace, she would be fired in two minutes but everyone is terrified of a discrimination lawsuit so they just don't say anything about how completely unprofessional I look.

I’m JK Rowling, famous British children’s author and notorious TERF. OP used to adore me; in fact her parents brought her to my midnight book releases, midnight screenings of the movies based on my series, and with her green and black scarf tied round her neck, she proudly identified herself as a wicked Slytherin at the yearly Harry Potter conventions!

As she got older, she masturbated feverishly to Snape fan fiction in her musty Potter sheets. She seemed quite happy to ignore the fact that Slytherins are bigots! I know; I created them!

Now, she tweets me death threats. What a world!

by Anonymousreply 35July 7, 2020 12:58 AM

"Being queer is all I have to hold onto to make me feel edgy."

I'm Linda's husband. Her being lez-ish really turns me on.

I'm Joss, they/them, MtF, lesbian, purple bangs dangling loosely over my tortoise shell Warby Parkers, anti-racist, anti-cis, able-bodied, white as silk. I work in data entry but have Data Scientist on my LinkedIn. I won't shut the fuck up about how amazing it is being POLY. My 2 partners are Pablo, an Indigenous disabled nonbinary bread baker, and Dina, commuting to Bushwick twice a month from University of Southampton where they are getting their PhD in Ethnosemiotics and Puppetry.

I frequently miss work to volunteer at an anti-fracking climate awareness initiative called "The Window." I very loudly tell new hires how liberating it was getting my penis chopped off. When I'm called into HR, the entire company receives a mandatory sexual harassment training email, which senior employees have learned to ignore time and time again. After one too many cis men are hired, I will very loudly announce my departure to focus on musical theatre projections.

I/yours/mine

by Anonymousreply 43July 7, 2020 11:51 PM

I'm a tall, slender, white, hetero, college-educated woman, not named Karen (instead one of those twee names from the 1970s-1980s - you know, Jennifer, Melissa, Marissa, Chloe, Zoe, Sophia, Olivia . . .) with a middle-management type job in a tech firm with good prospects for advancement.

I've been a registered Democrat since I turned 18.

But as the ruthless Stalinism of the Woke Terrorists spreads through my formerly rather congenial, cooperative workplace, and people begin to wonder if they said something that reflects a microagression or unconscious bias that will get me turned in to HR, I'm beginning to rethink my vote this November.

Of course, I won't tell anyone that, and I'm still echoing the party line and dutifully signing all my emails with she/her/hers under my name.

But privately, I can't wait to get into that voting booth and vote the fucking liberals out.

by Anonymousreply 44July 9, 2020 1:00 PM

I'm the cool bubbly trendy millenial white girl who tries to latch on to all of the gay men who work in my office in hopes that they will invite me to their gay hang-out so I can feel like one of those "Sex and the City" girls. So far no luck. I am offended. The HR director will be getting a visit from me.

by Anonymousreply 45July 9, 2020 1:11 PM

R44

Yikes, you win.

A week or so ago an article pointed out that a not insignificant number of people are afraid to tell pollsters that they are going to vote for Trump. If they revealed that information to someone PRETENDING to be polling, and got exposed, they could lose their job. The author included a disturbingly long list of liberals who had been fired for wrongthink in the last few months, and postulated that such self censorship would cause discrepancies in what candidate they claimed to support, but would not vote for in the election.

There is a serious paranoia among people that work in many industries regarding “cancel culture” and that is skewing poll numbers.

Anyone who believes the current numbers are accurate need to look back at 2016.

by Anonymousreply 46July 9, 2020 1:23 PM

DL was better before the alt-right started recruiting here.

by Anonymousreply 47July 9, 2020 1:24 PM

The looney left and the alt-right are equally disgusting.

by Anonymousreply 48July 9, 2020 1:25 PM

R48 Completely agree!

by Anonymousreply 49July 9, 2020 1:51 PM

I do love it when the far left starts spewing the alt-right accusations when anyone questions the far left's well-known rigid orthodoxy My Way Or The Highway tactics.

Pol Pot was a radical leftist. So was Stalin. So was Fidel Castro.

They killed and jailed homosexuals, families and workers were encouraged to turn family members and co-workers in for Thinking Wrong Thoughts . . .

It wasn't the alt right who opened "re-education camps".

Attacking the left bogeyman of the Trans, SJW, BLM, and "woke" as we've seen done on DL over and over and over again is a recruitment tactic by the alt-right.

by Anonymousreply 53July 9, 2020 3:44 PM

Let’s be a docile slave in the workplace. “Please cut my pay”. “I don’t deserve respect”. “I should be punished for my pre-existing conditions”

by Anonymousreply 54July 9, 2020 3:45 PM

I’m not feeling safe in this thread.

by Anonymousreply 55July 9, 2020 3:51 PM

I'm the dumb straight chick who has never experienced any kind of oppression--other than overhearing someone tell a guy that "he throws like a girl"--loudly proclaiming over the wall of my cubicle that I took EXTREME offence because someone called me a man-hater in a restaurant which I interpreted as anti-lesbian but is really a comment on my behaviour because I'm a raging fucking cunt. I also turn a blind eye to any homophobic behaviour directed toward gay men because, well, they're men so they deserve being killed, beaten and robbed, losing their jobs and being treated like a walking plague. Did I mention that I'm a raging fucking cunt? Well I assume that your INFERIOR "male brain"* wouldn't have understood it when I stated it previously so I thought I should repeat it... Did you ask what am I doing tonight? Oh, I'm going to giggle away on a date where I expect someone else to pay for everything until the guy I'm seeing decides to penetrate me because I represent a contemporary, empowered, financially independent woman. TTYL!

by Anonymousreply 56July 9, 2020 3:56 PM

I flash my septum piercing anytime someone says something "problematic". I make sure everyone has the right to free speech--just not people I disagree with. And you know what? I was molested/abused/bullied a lot at a young age and this piercing keeps me safe. Fuck y'all!!

by Anonymousreply 57July 9, 2020 3:56 PM

R52, how could anybody who called themselves a National Socialist be a leftist?

by Anonymousreply 58July 9, 2020 4:03 PM

See, I knew you'd pull out that blatantly false alt-right bullshit.

by Anonymousreply 59July 9, 2020 4:46 PM

I spend my time at work posting countless IG stories imploring my followers to #defundthepolice, encouraging looters to continue to steal, telling everyone how awful White people are and how it’s not racist to lump all White people into one group. I leave the office at 3pm every day to peacefully protest, where I chant at the cops to “suck a dick”.

I could be volunteering at homeless shelters or programs for underprivileged kids, letting them know that if they want to go to law school, business school, medical school, become an architect, police officer or teacher that they should study, get straight Cs, and they will get accepted to the school of their dreams and their tuition will he covered, but that would be too much work and make too much sense. I prefer to spew hatred and get people upset rather than actually make minorities’ lives better.

by Anonymousreply 60July 9, 2020 5:44 PM

R53 - Spare me your simplistic apologist bullshit.

This is YOUR tactic: - anyone questioning the tactics of the far left is, ipso facto, far right.

It's called whataboutery, or in more sophisticated language, a straw man argument.

Because, as we know, there is never ANY legitimacy to any questioning of any aspect whatsoever of the far left's tactics, or opportunistic use of events and movements to further a much broader agenda.

In point of fact, the far left and the far right have a good deal in common.

It's most amusing to find out that one can be accused of being either one simply by pointing to a bad behaviour by the other.

by Anonymousreply 61July 9, 2020 6:12 PM

I'm the white anglo-saxon protestant Mayflower descendant. My birth certificate shows my name as Trisha, but since my teens I've adopted the name LaTrisha. I wear my hair in cornrows and listen to nothing but Hip Hop because I want my the sisters and brothers to know I'm down with them. The coffee mugs on my desk all have pro-gay messages on them.

by Anonymousreply 62July 9, 2020 6:31 PM

Using the straw man reference is sophisticated? I am sure my cousins in elementary school will get a kick out of that.

That tells us a lot about you.

Utter bullshit.

by Anonymousreply 67July 10, 2020 4:21 PM

Cancel culture (whoever doesn't adhere to the current socio-political party line is OUT) is a product of the liberal left, not the alt right.

It comes to exactly the same thing: you haven't the right to disagree, and if you try to, you'll get called things like racist, homophobic, lose your job . . .

Look what happened to that "alt right" bitch, JK Rowling, when she disagreed with the trans' communitie's pilloring of a fucking professional feminist, for god's sake.

Is JK Rowling recruting for the alt right?!

Please. Think Robespierre, Pol Pot Stalin, Mao . . . those People's Revolutions lead to the guillotine, the Gulag, re-education camps in China, and more than one million killed in Campuchea without the oh so liberal West lifting a finger - any more than it did in Darfur, or is doing now in Yemen.

Rigid political ideology is as much the enemy of freedom as religious fanatacism, with which it nowadays also has much in common.

by Anonymousreply 68July 10, 2020 4:48 PM

^*recruiting

by Anonymousreply 69July 10, 2020 4:49 PM

Oh, cancel culture, I knew there was an alt-right buzzword I left off my list. The truth is cancel culture has been a tool of the rich and powerful for as long as they've existed. The right-wing cheers when Colin Kaepernick gets his career stomped out for kneeling at a football game, but criticize someone they like and suddenly they're pearl-clutching, shrieking lilies over cancel culture.

by Anonymousreply 70July 10, 2020 4:58 PM

I'm Datalounge 2020 and I am an ALT-RIGHT DUMPSTER FIRE!!!

by Anonymousreply 71July 10, 2020 5:00 PM

The right wing invented "Cancel Culture" when they went after the Dixie Chicks 15+ years ago.

by Anonymousreply 72July 10, 2020 5:01 PM

Is it ok to agree that any sort of cancel culture is wrong whether it's from the right or left? I feel that it halts important conversations and never gives anyone a chance to learn or grow. Now, if you're someone like Trump and you continue doing horrible thing after horrible thing, that's different. People like that don't change. However, if some politician once dressed in drag in college and someone wants to cancel him and say he's transphobic for something that happened 30/40 years ago, that person is mentally unstable and belongs in an asylum somewhere.

What's even worse is when some of these people get the offending party to apologize and it still doesn't really help. I'm starting to believe no apology is better than bowing down to some of these weirdos. Just ignore them.

by Anonymousreply 73July 10, 2020 5:31 PM

The cancel culture shit is ridiculous in many instances.

by Anonymousreply 74July 10, 2020 5:43 PM

R70 - "Cancel culture" isn't an alt right "buzzword". It's being used across mainstream media.

You might want to talk to JK Rowling's publisher for a few opinions on that, or the fucking trans terrorist who called her "unfit to be around children" when Rowling expressed her views on how the feminist was treated.

Who's the real fascist, mate? The liberal trans activist who virtually accused Rowling of being a child molester for her opinion, or Rowling?

You apologists make me sick. You'll tolerate ANYTHING said or done by your "side" and blame it on the "alt right".

If the "alt right" didn't exist, you'd have had to invent it to support your fascist intolerance of any view but your own.

by Anonymousreply 75July 10, 2020 6:13 PM

There is a fundamental difference between the appeal of a mass movement and the appeal of a practical organization. The practical organization offers opportunities for self-advancement, and its appeal is mainly to self-interest. On the other hand, a mass movement, particularly in its active, revivalist phase, appeals not to those intent on bolstering and advancing a cherished self, but to those who crave to be rid of an unwanted self. A mass movement attracts and holds a following not because it can satisfy the desire for self-advancement, but because it can satisfy the passion for self-renunciation [Guilt-ridden, Woke, White folks, I'm looking at you].

Eric Hoffer, The True Believer

by Anonymousreply 76July 10, 2020 10:45 PM

“Mass movements can rise and spread without belief in a God, but never without belief in a devil. Usually the strength of a mass movement is proportionate to the vividness and tangibility of its devil.”

by Anonymousreply 77July 10, 2020 10:51 PM

I’m sure that you think that the socialist in USSR does NOT mean socialist because they murdered tens of millions of people.

Socialist and communist governments have murdered over 100 million people, and you cunts defend them.

by Anonymousreply 94July 12, 2020 7:03 AM

The Nazis were about as 'socialist' as the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are 'democratic.'

[quote]Socialist and communist governments have murdered over 100 million people, and you cunts defend them.

Typical alt-right bullshit, just like their claim that Dems "defend" Islam.

Democide is not a characteristic inherent to either communism or socialism, but it is of totalitarian systems. The governments of which you speak, R94 (the USSR and the Peoples' Republic of China) were totalitarian regimes that also happened to be communist/socialist. Murder isn't a prerequisite to socialism.

And no, this isn't a "defense" of socialism or communism as governmental systems; that isn't the point here. Christians make much the same kind of fallacious argument when they characterize the millions killed by totalitarian governments as having been killed by 'atheism.'

R93, you really are damaged. The Nazis were not leftists. That's simple historical truth. Any of a thousand different reliable sources will confirm that.

Since living with a woman for the first time in my life, I have decided that SJW young women are just as bad as Karens. My roommate is a lovely woman in her 40's who is a senior writer of real estate news at our offices and got sent with me to Romania, half American with a Romanian dad. When a gay co-worker was essentially stiffed of overtime pay by his homophobic boss, she immediately took it to the VP (who is her friend and I suspect may have a crush on her) and told him privately what was happening. The twink got his overtime, but all because she was the ONLY one who had the guts to say something. She also got signatures on a petition the twink and his partner put out to legalize same-sex marriage.

She also helped me when under lockdown and did all the shopping. HOWEVER, she happens to love fashion and glamour, used to go on dated every Saturday, is blessed with a figure like our horrid first lady and has money her late husband left her. Not ONE day goes by that the green-haired, obese, SJW, self-styled "bisexual" (they don't yet have the gender thing down here) girls at the office didn't back stab her. They went to HR, said she was "too LA", said she used "offensive" words in her writing like "etc.", "Americana", and "nation". I personally think that lots of the fat SJW women are that way to feel better about themselves and look "edgy". All talk, no action.

I'm the bitch who's been on extended maternity leave twice in four years and complains that I don't get the same pay and promotion opportunities as my male colleagues. The break room is now a safe space where I pump breast milk so would you mind taking your break at another time? And if you could just finish these tasks so I can meet my deadline, that'd be great as I need to leave early because of the kids.

by Anonymousreply 98July 12, 2020 8:16 AM

I'm the SJW white hereto woman whose cubicle is next to that of a detransitioning fem to male. I have no fucking clue what to say to her/him/them.

Mass movements use irrationality to shut out the intellect, to turn people into predictable, mindless machines. Both Stalin and Hitler used blind faith as a device for mechanizing souls.

- Eric Hoffer, Reflections on the Human Condition

by Anonymousreply 100July 12, 2020 10:10 PM

R100, thank you for mentioning Eric Hoffer, I'm gonna buy some of his books after reading that quote and his wiki.

by Anonymousreply 101July 13, 2020 12:25 AM

R93: Read and learn.

[quote]"Conservatives, seeking to escape the “fascist” and “Nazi” labels tossed at them by leftist critics since the 1960s, have turned the tables. Books such as Jonah Goldberg’s “Liberal Fascism” have noted that many leading fascists, such as Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, started out as socialists...There is only one problem: This argument is untrue. Although the Nazis did pursue a level of government intervention in the economy that would shock doctrinaire free marketeers, their “socialism” was at best a secondary element in their appeal. Indeed, most supporters of Nazism embraced the party precisely because they saw it as an enemy of and an alternative to the political left."

R102, thank you. Will the troll who keeps posting about the Nazis being leftwing be gone???

by Anonymousreply 103July 13, 2020 4:02 PM

Nazis are not socialist. Hitler's regime wanted a safety net only for Aryans, not for everyone. They literally killed people based on their identity and/or political beliefs. Hardly "healthcare is a human right." On every measure of what socialism actually is, Nazi's prove to be anything but socialist:

[quote]Despite continuing certain Weimar-era social welfare programs, the Nazis proceeded to restrict their availability to “racially worthy” (non-Jewish) beneficiaries. In terms of labor, worker strikes were outlawed. Trade unions were replaced by the party-controlled German Labor Front, primarily tasked with increasing productivity, not protecting workers. In lieu of the socialist ideal of an egalitarian, worker-run state, the National Socialists erected a party-run police state whose governing structure was anti-democratic, rigidly hierarchical, and militaristic in nature. As to the redistribution of wealth, the socialist ideal “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need” was rejected in favor of a credo more on the order of “Take everything that belongs to non-Aryans and keep it for the master race.”

For being leftists the Nazis sure did ship an awful lot of leftists off to their death camps. I mean, of those they didn't execute the second they came to power.

by Anonymousreply 105July 13, 2020 4:50 PM

You are all missing the big picture. Back up (and read Eric Hoffer) and you will see that the alt left and alt right are the mirror image of each other. BLM is just another mass movement like all the rest that lead to nothing but mass murder, opression and the extinguishing of the human flame, that is the only way I can categorize it.

I am the book store clerk who is 35, still Goth, and devoted to YA literature. I also don't see that as stunted growth but as an outlet for my intensely involving fanfic pieces. I have a hair trigger sense of offense and I will tell you who you are and how you see the world. I will torture anyone who disagrees with me on forums that are echo chambers. I will use my sense of outrage to make major publishing houses quake lest they offend some college dropout (fibromyalgia) in Keokuk, Iowa.

R106, Horseshoe Theory is definitely a thing.

by Anonymousreply 108July 13, 2020 11:47 PM

R108, I guess your cognitive ability has not developed beyond the concrete. If Horseshoe Theory works for your cognitive level, you are absolutely correct.

by Anonymousreply 109July 13, 2020 11:58 PM

I'm the OTHER purple haired female in the workplace. I'm actually thin and pretty. I bask in the attention of straight men (when I'm in a good mood, which is rarely) while raging against them for being shallow and creepy. I also routinely seek them out to help me in my current financial crisis-one of many- but I can never hide my disgust long enough to go through with it. I am bisexual but only when my relationships with men sour. I would never have sex with a transgender but I'll call YOU a bigot for refusing to sleep with one. I constantly have drama in my life, and I am mostly the cause of it.

You sound really butthurt over what I and R106 said. Just another disgruntled Bernie Bro.

Horseshoe? More like horseshit! Back to Stormfront, Adolf!

by Anonymousreply 112July 14, 2020 1:48 AM

Both sides are the same!

by Anonymousreply 113July 14, 2020 1:49 AM

But I'm better than both, except at typing

by Anonymousreply 114July 14, 2020 1:50 AM

The left and right are not exactly the same, of course not. However, the FAR left and right are similar. Far leftists go on and on about how they are against "authoritarianism" yet look all the far-left authoritarian regimes Bernie and (even worse) Corbyn support. Not sure what stormfront has to do with anything, horseshoe theory says that the far left and far right are similar and exist on a continuum. That's not something stormfront would ever agree with.

It’s something a “both sides” troll on a “whataboutism” spin cycle would push for obvious reason, Cletus. Use your critical thinking skills.

by Anonymousreply 116July 14, 2020 2:19 AM

I'm the coworker approaching retirement, keeping my head down and mouth shut. I'm old enough to have lived through multiple social upheavals, so I know how they always pan out: almost all sound and fury, pitifully little change.

You think I'm part of the problem, I think you'll only learn the hard way. So I'll keep out of you and your fellow zealots way and just wait for you to lose interest in what is, for most of you, only a vicarious outrage, not a genuine appreciation of injustice. You prove the shallowness of your convictions by abusing people while denouncing others for being abusive.

"Congratulations!"

"Ok, now no more of that bullshit, right?"

"I'll just call you 'Pat'!"

"This is better because in all honesty you were a dog-faced girl."

Block R117

Troll Cunt.

by Anonymousreply 120July 14, 2020 6:46 AM

Aaauuughhhhh

Meant R118

R117 was great. Block the botched castration at R118and most of the insanity disappears!

[quote]You prove the shallowness of your convictions by abusing people while denouncing others for being abusive.

Just how many different ways are trolls going to keep restating the tired trope, "if you object to my bigotry, you're being a bigot"? No one needs to be tolerant of your intolerance, R117.
