What's wrong with Prince Charles' fingers?

They're like sausages.

Arthritis? It causes inflammation, and thus swelling.

by Anonymousreply 4June 13, 2020 6:52 PM

His feet are like that, too. Does he have arthritis in his feet?

by Anonymousreply 5June 13, 2020 6:52 PM

Short-fingered vulgarian.

by Anonymousreply 6June 13, 2020 6:53 PM

There were at least a couple of guys on A&E's Intervention who looked finger-bloated like that from opiate addiction: I would never think that could happen to anyone in the BRF. Or could it?

by Anonymousreply 7June 13, 2020 6:55 PM

Blood pressure problems.

by Anonymousreply 8June 13, 2020 6:58 PM

They've been stuck up his arse too long.

by Anonymousreply 9June 13, 2020 7:07 PM

Diabetes?

by Anonymousreply 10June 13, 2020 7:08 PM

Looks like rheumatoid arthritis. My dads fingers look exactly like that when he has a flare-up. It's an autoimmune disease that is fairly common in the elderly, and treatment is symptomatic. It can be extremely painful.

by Anonymousreply 11June 13, 2020 7:11 PM

That ring's gotta be permanently stuck on his finger.

by Anonymousreply 12June 13, 2020 7:14 PM

He had ugly hands as a young man.

by Anonymousreply 13June 13, 2020 7:15 PM

heart failure

by Anonymousreply 14June 13, 2020 7:16 PM

r13 Is the vengeful ghost of Princess Diana

by Anonymousreply 15June 13, 2020 7:17 PM

If you think that's bad, you should see his toes!

by Anonymousreply 16June 13, 2020 7:17 PM

Drunk, he claims his red nose is rosacea but everyone knows he's a drunk

by Anonymousreply 17June 13, 2020 7:18 PM

Will he ever be king?

by Anonymousreply 18June 13, 2020 7:18 PM

Wow. Looks painful.

by Anonymousreply 19June 13, 2020 7:19 PM

They're Wall's "Bangers"!

by Anonymousreply 20June 13, 2020 7:22 PM

Another vote for edema, which is usually a sign of congestive heart failure, but given how long-lived his immediate ancestors are, I somehow don't see Chuck dropping dead in the next few weeks.

So maybe it is rheumatoid arthritis.

by Anonymousreply 21June 13, 2020 7:29 PM

His toes are fine!

by Anonymousreply 22June 13, 2020 7:30 PM

They’re just the right girth, thank you.

by Anonymousreply 23June 13, 2020 7:34 PM

I started a thread last year on Charles' "swollen member" - It's been deleted.

by Anonymousreply 24June 13, 2020 7:36 PM

Wow! They are really swollen...seems like he needs a water pill or two.

by Anonymousreply 25June 13, 2020 7:37 PM

I bet he could feed world’s hungry three times over with those sausages!

by Anonymousreply 26June 13, 2020 7:47 PM

Edema or some other heart related condition.

by Anonymousreply 27June 13, 2020 7:54 PM

They look like Weird Al's in his "Fat" video.

There is a type of arthritis called spondyloarthritis that causes an overall bloating and inflammation of the hands unlike rheumatoid arthritis that usually causes swelling and inflammation in the knuckles and the finger joints.

by Anonymousreply 29June 13, 2020 8:06 PM

R29 but would it also cause the swelling in his feet?

by Anonymousreply 30June 13, 2020 8:55 PM

Looks like the classic case of psoriatic arthritis. I used to see patients with it time to time at the rheumatology clinic where I did part of my training.

by Anonymousreply 31June 13, 2020 9:48 PM

Also from that photo of his feet, if those are his feet, he appears to have nail psoriasis, which is linked to poorer prognosis in psoriatic arthritis. Some patients also have facial rash or ruddiness on the face.

by Anonymousreply 32June 13, 2020 9:50 PM

[quote] [R29] but would it also cause the swelling in his feet?

Yes, it does.

by Anonymousreply 33June 14, 2020 1:02 AM

That ain't the half of it.

by Anonymousreply 34June 14, 2020 1:25 AM

R22, those toes are NOT fine. I would not take my shoes off even to shower if my feet looked like that.

by Anonymousreply 35June 14, 2020 2:49 AM

Each individual finger has more girth than Donald's pecker. Gross and amazing.

by Anonymousreply 36June 14, 2020 4:01 AM

This is a systemic problem and more than likely a form of arthritis. R 29, R31 and R32 suggested types would be part of a differential diagnosis, but more information is needed to make a definitive diagnosis. Having this type of condition involving ones digits can be debilitating.

There are successful biologic treatments for the conditions associated with Psoriatic Arthritis. Which makes me think that this make not be Psoriatic Arthritis.

by Anonymousreply 37June 14, 2020 6:14 AM

I remember your thread R24. I thought I was tripping, I knew I'd seen a thread on Charlie's sausage fingers before.

by Anonymousreply 38June 14, 2020 6:30 AM

I’ve said it on other threads and I’ll say it again; Elizabeth will outlive Charles.

by Anonymousreply 39June 14, 2020 6:53 AM

They will have to cut his finger off to get that ring.

by Anonymousreply 40June 14, 2020 6:55 AM

I really hope you're wrong r39. I sometimes think that William is going to be lonely when he gets to the top. Queen, Charles, Philip, (not in that order), Harry (MIA and having his own existential crises), etc. That whole upper tier will be gone sooner rather than later. Makes the Markles' public squabbles look so petty, so mean-spirited, so vile.

by Anonymousreply 43June 14, 2020 2:22 PM

This is old news

I had a picture book of Charles as a young man and his hands and nails were unattractive even then. His hands were not swollen but it's obvious he has always been a nail biter.

by Anonymousreply 45June 14, 2020 8:40 PM

I met Alex Guinness the year before he died and his hands were exactly like that.

by Anonymousreply 46June 14, 2020 9:25 PM

Q: "What's wrong with Prince Charles' fingers?

A: They are attached to Prince Charles.

by Anonymousreply 49June 15, 2020 1:42 AM

If he was a lesbian he would be considered "well hung" with those fingers....

by Anonymousreply 50June 15, 2020 1:47 AM

Ok. That was properly funny, r50

by Anonymousreply 59June 17, 2020 12:16 PM

Maybe he should take digitalis.

by Anonymousreply 60June 17, 2020 1:01 PM

Lovely "toad in the hole" with Charles' sausagey-fingers! It's for tea!

by Anonymousreply 61June 17, 2020 1:18 PM

Swelling of both my hands similar to this led to my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. I have been on methotrexate and Humira and it took almost 6 months for the swelling to go down. My hands peeled after they deflated. I have lived a long time and this is the worst thing I have ever had. I feel for him. Its very painful.

by Anonymousreply 62June 17, 2020 9:10 PM

R41 Wow, the skin on his hand in that pic is so taut that it's shiny.

by Anonymousreply 63June 18, 2020 12:23 AM

Does the queen have that?

by Anonymousreply 64June 27, 2020 1:20 AM

The only time Camilla can feel anything when he's fingering her fanny is when his fingers are in that particular state.

by Anonymousreply 65June 27, 2020 1:40 AM

R64 No. She is in very good health.

by Anonymousreply 66June 27, 2020 6:26 AM

In some of his photos, you can see a glimpse of a compression sleeve.

by Anonymousreply 67June 27, 2020 3:28 PM

HIs whole face is a sausage.
