As someone who knows people who work on that show, Stern's staffers are definitely going to start leaking embarrassing things about him in the press. His team is full of Rumpster Deplorables, so I know they were pissed about their boss going after their dear leader. I think people really need to look at each cancellation with a subjective lens (not Dunham) instead of knee jerk reaction. I would say, is this person really coming from a bad place, are they a decent person now? I don't think Howard is one of the bad guys. R45 It's not like I'm friends with them. It's just that, through people I know personally, I know them. They gossip like we do here and I've personally heard some really embarrassing stories about Howard, like how he had a conversation with one of the producers mocking Robin Williams days before he died and then acted all remorseful about how he treated him on the show the next day after his death was announced. They are not very discrete at all. I also know that they are angry at Howard for trashing the Rumpster, saying he betrayed his audience, that he's a sell out liberal and a Hollywood phony. A lot of them are ready to get their revenge, which is why I said what I said. They are deplorable, but on the other hand, Howard knows of their political views and still said what he said on the air. I think he just figures that they'll stay loyal to him no matter what, considering he's the reason many of them are employed in the first place. He's wrong to assume this.

Howard's contract ends at the end of the year. He has no intention of going back to the studio anytime soon, he's broadcasting from home and the show has taken a hit as a result. Between his despair about the state of the country, his fear of Covid and the stories coming out now he might decide to hang it up.

It still amazes me how homophobic someone can be or how they can be racist to Asians (Howard AND Robin were doing Chinaman voices like two months ago...) and nothing happens, but anything towards blacks and the end of the world is occurring. It’s Equality for ALL not Revenge for Blacks.
