OK, just discovered this duo today.
The female vocalist's mom is a very well known singer (one discussed here many times). Without Googling the band name, or looking in the YouTube comments (no cheating!) look at her face and listen to her voice and tell me if you can guess who her mother is.
(She's not a super carbon copy of mom, but....the eyes have it)

There's one shot in that video where she's almost the spitting image of mom.
R2 Agree with the quality of her voice. You can tell she's worked on sounding that way. I bet if she just sang naturally, her voice would be a lot better and more like mom's.

I did NOT know until reading the Wiki entry that they've had some connections with "Chip and Jo."
They wrote the theme song to Fixer Upper and I guess there will be a show with the two of them on the new Chip and Jo Network.

This is one of the more interesting songs, to my ears. Some of the other choices were a bit generic. It certainly is no cakewalk trying to be in the pop music market today, where bland rules.
