The more commercialized the parade got, the raunchier it got as well. Someone on here posted a clip from a 70s pride parade. It was so much better! Yeah, there were some people expressing themselves with displays of skin but that was the minority of the people. It's a shame.

Gays should have the right to show their sexuality as heterosexuals show their sexuality in every part of society. However, the public nudity is just not necessary. And yes, the Pride parades of old were actually about gay pride and rights, not just how some corporation flies pride flags to generate revenue from our community.
