Maybe this will solve all our problems.
Quick! Someone call Bruce Willis!

The closest it will come to Earth is 3 million miles. It's not even close.

by Anonymous | reply 6 | June 6, 2020 12:27 AM |
This asteroid better NOT hit the earth and distract from Black voices telling the truth about oppression and white privilege!!!!
by Anonymous | reply 7 | June 6, 2020 12:41 AM |
If it hits the ocean it won't make a "Deep Impact" tsunami, not even close.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | June 6, 2020 12:56 AM |
The way things are going, I'll probably be attacked by Murder Hornets minutes before it hits.

by Anonymous | reply 13 | June 6, 2020 2:14 AM |
13.25 Lunar Distance, so it'll be more than 13x further away than the moon. I'm not terribly concerned.

I love how the article says "scientists are keeping an eye on it, in case it gets anywhere near Earth"
Like, how does that work exactly? At that point, it would be way too late to do anything.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | June 6, 2020 2:57 AM |
This asteroid won't come anywhere near Earth, but as someone who studies horoscopes and astrology, this could be a sign that something drastic or really bad is going to happen tomorrow. Also keep in mind tomorrow is the day that RFK was assassinated 52 years ago. Perhaps it's the end for Trump or someone else. We'll have to see.

Orbital Mechanics is a thing. After several observations they pretty much know exactly where it is, where it was, and where it will be.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | June 6, 2020 6:01 AM |
Also forgot that today is the anniversary of DDAY. Perhaps we may be liberated from Trump. Wishful thinking, but who knows.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 6, 2020 3:24 PM |
With my luck I'd survive it, enduring a slow death as the planet is plunged into an icy eternal winter.
Really, it's all getting a bit much to ask now.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 6, 2020 3:53 PM |
We're not lucky enough to get hit.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 6, 2020 10:16 PM |
In the movie version, Bruce Willis stars as the leader of a team of astronauts who have to land on the asteroid, drill into its core, plant a bomb and then detonate it before it destroys Earth.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 6, 2020 11:22 PM |
Wake me when one is going to hit.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | June 15, 2020 12:03 AM |
Maybe Harry can save us all.
I love it when Affleck says "I Love You"
Sorry dude, you're not going to be showered with gifts unless you're a blonde twink.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 15, 2020 12:13 AM |
Oh honey, we've seen this movie SO many times.
