Saying a song is number one is generally understood to mean it is the most popular song in the country and its popularity in single, streaming, and airplay is reflected on the Billboard Top 100 pop chart. If a song is number one on iTunes, that can be for an hour or a day. That's not a "real" number one as it's only topping sales for a brief moment at one outlet of many that go into the Billboatd chart. It's an achievement but until it tops Billboard, it's just a minor achievement, as it could be nothing more than a single her fans are buying in a quick burst that will fade by week's end. Is radio playing it?
