What is the different between HBO Now and HBO Max?
I finally got HBO Max two weeks ago because they were doing a deal where you get 12 months for $11.99 instead of $14.99 if you sign up now. I took it, as I’ve been wanting to watch GOT. Today I woke up and it is now HBO Max. Cool. What the fuck is different?
It’s the same shows and movies, only with some throwbacks like Friends and Fresh Prince? Oh and now the app has original content not shown on the actual network? What is the point of that? Ugh.

Max is a top. Now is an insatiable bottom.

I believe HBO now will become HBO Max. Now was just HBO GO for people who did not pay for HBO on cable. HBO Max will have much more original content as well as the back catalog of HBO.

Correct. HBO Now apps on the various services should be in the process of updating to be HBO Max. Can confirm for Apple TV and iOS.
