Plexaderm

Has anyone tried this crap?

Why do all the people in the commercial look like hatchet murderers?

I think the people pictured have to look vacant so any results can't be written off to 'smile wrinkles' or other facial features. I really want to try this stuff so am interested in hearing from anyone who has tried it.

"and we were screaming!".... yeh, because it stripped the flesh off his face!

This one is for real!

I've used it, have quite a lot left as it didnt live up to expectations, but maybe not the way you would think. When applied correctly it does firm and smooth your skin as it dries, but for me it seemed as soon as I blinked or did my makeup (female here) it loosened and lost the effect. Reapplying it made it flaky. The concept is as if you applied Elmer's glue to your skin, it tightens but not long-lasting with normal facial expressions and movement. I also tried it under puffy eyes...very minimal results. I've since had my puffy eyes surgically helped. Expensive but worth it. Plexaderm not so much.

R6, what specifically did you have done to your eyes? I have terrible eye bags and am considering surgical intervention. Was it worth it? Did it change the shape of your eyes at all?

The Plexaderm ads mainly seem to demonstrate that ugly people whose wrinkles have been temporarily reduced are still ugly.

I use it from time to time and it works. I'm not sure how it works and it probably filled with something that's gonna kill me, but it helps with morning eyes.

R7, I had the bags removed (lower blepharoplasty I believe) and had my eyebrows pulled up. It's been aboutb 2.5 months since surgery (a day or so before lockdown) and I can finally say I like it. At first it looked way too tight, my eyes seemed slanted upwards at the corners, but now they are not. My only suggestion about surgeons is read any of their bad reviews and see if you can live with the same problems. The first surgeon I thought would do my eyes seemed to be a maestro according to her reviews, but follow up care and returning phone calls was a problem. I found Another high rated surgeon who not only personally called me daily for the following week, he gave me his cell phone number and said to call him day or night with concerns/problems. I was very satisfied with the care.
