I have thought it is odd how MadTV and Alex Borstein rarely got slammed for Miss Swan, yet SNL frequently gets slammed for similar sketches and characters. Several years back, two Latina comedians Jenni Ruiza and Jesenia went after SNL because they were mad about Cecily Strong playing Latinas in sketches. Those comedians had a youtube channel and twitter pages were they talked about MadTV being more diverse than SNL which is true. However, I thought it was hypocritical that they frequently bitched about Strong playing Latings, yet they never bitched about how Nicole Sullivan played a Latina on MadTV.
