For those who love vintage Saturday Night Live (1975-1980), what are your fave skits/hosts/episodes?

I loved seeing Marianne Faithfull high as a kite croak out a song. And man, Chevy Chase was a warm dish.

The Carrie Fisher episode is classic.

The Skit where Gilda Radner plays the little girl, who doesn't talk, at the therapist. The therapist asks her to pick up something that reminds her of her mother (a doll) and her father (another doll) then her...and she picks up a tape dispenser.

Reminds me of a corporate party I went to as a guest. It was an SNL theme and they told people to come dressed as characters. Great decor too.

Phoebe Snow and Linda Ronstadt singing 'Married Men' Bette Midler singing a different song titled 'Married Men (with Luther Vandross among the backup vocalists)

Jane Curtin as Sandra Goode and Laraine Newman as Squeaky Fromme, the Manson Girls pushing "human hair potholders." Newman looking vacant-eyed at the camera and intoning, "Ya better BUY 'EM, ya little piggies, I'm not fooling" was truly chilling in light of the climate of terror at the time.
