President Trump’s failure to lead and his support of, and awkward and embarrassing emulation of, despots and leaders of banana republics has left our country vulnerable to foreign attack and destruction.
Trump’s disastrous and deadly response to the Coronavirus with its mix of incompetence, blame, malice, and corruption has brought on our shores unfathomable levels of American Carnage. But perhaps what is even more frightening – if that’s even possible – is what this horrifying ordeal has showed us about how Trump would respond to another international crisis or war if he was elected to a second term. We must never let this preview of Trump-borne devastation become our epilogue of doom when we still have the chance to change course this November.
We produced “Emergency Alert” to emphasize the reality that we are now facing an existential threat to our country caused by Trump and the new GOP party that supports him. This is NOT the GOP that supported Reagan, but a mutated GOP that is willing to bend and break its morals and convictions to preserve their proximity to power and promote Trump’s dystopian vision for the country.
“Emergency Alert,” with its subtle nod to the historic “Daisy advertisement,” which led to Lyndon Johnson’s landslide victory over Barry Goldwater in the 1964 United States Presidential election, warns that TIME IS RUNNING OUT for us to save the Country by voting Trump out of the White House and by urging Americans, and particularly Americans in swing states who want a future for their families, to VOTE BLUE and VOTE JOE.
