It's hilarious how many of them have shat the bed at the possibility of not being on our screens for a few months. The amount of celebrities that have started YouTube channels, been doing Instagram lives daily, trying to get their old shows re-booted, or are pulling bizarre stunts to try go viral... it REEKS of desperation.

One of the few positives of this COVID situation is that it kind of pulled back the curtain on how useless celebrities are to the culture as a whole, and how out of touch their interests are with working (and/or poor) people. The 'Imagine' video was a big turning point. As the younger generation become obsessed with new, non-celebrities on Tik Tok, many of whom are regular suburban kids just like them (and whose number of views far outnumber the traditional 'celebrities') I wonder if the blueprint for becoming - and staying - famous will completely change now.
