She sort of reminds me of Luann from the Real Housewives of New York-marrying into nobility by latching onto an older man, divorcing him, then wringing every drop of publicity she can get out of it by appearing on reality TV and lording it over everyone with her title.

Impoverished Colin Campbell was the one who married her for her money and then went mad when he found out she was considered a boy at birth by the Jamaican doula.
The doula was wrong, and everything was rectified later, but when Campbell found out about it, he panicked and fled.
