Two lesbians move in together and are now a couple despite never going on a date. It will all end in drama and tears.
Obligatory flannel and unflattering haircuts too

I admire lesbians for being nesters, occasionally, they cheat on each other, but, you rarely meet a slutty lesbian.

There’s always an ex lurking around
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 19, 2020 12:51 PM |
I knew a lesbian that had three partners over a 12 year period.
She could not start a new romance and hold down a job. Nor did she want her partner working.
She felt she could not emotionally bond with someone unless they were together 24 hours a day for a period of 1 to 2 months. Neither of them would get out of bed except to eat or go to the bathroom.
She did this with three different women. In each case the couple was broke by the time they went back to work and had financial problems that lasted the length of the relationships.

I don’t like to make generalisations, but Lesbians lack the commonsense and good taste of gay men.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 19, 2020 1:06 PM |
The butch lesbians realize as they age that the drama of the younger lesbians around them isn't worth it. They start hanging out with the gay men where they can laugh their asses off and be themselves.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 19, 2020 1:07 PM |
R13 they have the stubbornness of a straight man but lack the grace and poise to get away with it
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 19, 2020 1:08 PM |
the two in OP pic had to have actually been twins separated at birth.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 19, 2020 1:09 PM |

Perhaps Australian lesbians have different stereotypes than American ones?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 19, 2020 1:23 PM |
Lesbians who are coupled, who've never gone out on a date, probably never had sex, but they've cuddled the HELL out of each other, fully clothed of course.
Next up, spooning....just as soon as they work out the "politics of power from a feminist non-exclusionary perspective" of who's going to be the "big spoon", and that the "little spoon's" feelings are ALWAYS VALID in this potentially degrading, heteronormative position. They tread with trepidation.
Vox/Vice/Buzzfeed/HelloGiggles will do in-depths on the array of emotions spooning creates in a lesbian relationship.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 19, 2020 1:27 PM |
Lesbians are so obsessed with building stable households it poisons a lot of relationships. Love isn't mortgages and retirement planning.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 19, 2020 1:27 PM |
These silly girls will be fighting and stating all sorts of ridiculous boundaries before long. Lesbian drama is not confined to geographical boundaries
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 19, 2020 1:28 PM |
As 'hip' as they think they are, their styles will remain the same for the rest of their lives.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 19, 2020 1:31 PM |
Are they related?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 19, 2020 1:32 PM |
I have no beef with lesbians.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 19, 2020 1:33 PM |
They moved in together because of the lockdown. One even lives in the UK normally.

by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 19, 2020 1:48 PM |
There seem to be a lot more gay men than lesbians by an order of magnitude. This may be why they so often act like those deep sea fish that fuse their bodies together when they find a mate.

There's a lesbian couple currently on TLCs "90 Day Fiance."

[quote]I have no beef with lesbians.
What's THAT supposed to mean?!
Don't you know how Big Cattle is an institutionally patriarchal industry and beef is a symbol of M*N's destruction of heyfers?
Next time: THINK before you speak. I am not here to do emotional labor for you by telling you the correct terminology is 'I have no lentil with lesbians'. That is not my job. That is yours.
Please do not make me have to restate these BASIC boundaries of non-womyn-othering discourse again, R24.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 19, 2020 2:18 PM |
When you read the article, it's more understandable. They met and hit it off, but one lived in the UK and the other in Australia. Then Covid lockdowns hit so they decided to quarantine together rather than not see each other again for who knew how long.
It's not like they both lived in the same city, met at a party and moved in together the same day. There were extenuating circumstances.
All the same, I don't give this relationship great odds.

We find lesbians couple to be moving.
And our vehicles stand ready to support the break-up movings.

R15
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 19, 2020 2:37 PM |
Have they stated their boundaries? In writing?
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 19, 2020 2:39 PM |
R24 Your PATRIARCHY is showing!!!!!!
WYMIN CAN.....CAN defend themselves! Your forceful insertion into this discussion is HIGHLY offensive and REEKS of white nationalist, bible thumping, violence against wymin
It's probably the case you're a vile Trump supporter, who's ultimate aim is to subjugate & eventually destroy wymin.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 19, 2020 2:40 PM |
Ultimately, it's about finding the right straight man. I pity the conversion therapist because these girls are very resistant to therapy.

Our congratulations to the Happy Couple!
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 19, 2020 2:57 PM |
The impulsivity of it all does raise alarm bells. This pair may be besotted with each other for now but they don't know each other beyond a kind of generic lezzie idealization ("she's just great!"). Agree with OP that it will end in tears. Illusions inevitably end in disillusionment. I suspect that they both lived very boring lives and their mutual availability begs many question. Or, this might be a one-in-a-million situation and they'll live happily ever after.
Also, how did they end up in the press? Sounds like they might already be bored.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 19, 2020 3:45 PM |
What are their names?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 19, 2020 4:51 PM |
Once years ago, when I was still young and cute, I was at a lesbian party. A woman I barely knew initiated a conversation with me. After talking for a few minutes, she mentioned to me that she was thinking of leaving her long-time girlfriend -- and if she did, would I be available?
I was so flabbergasted I didn't know what to say. I finally told her that I believe that it's best to be single for at least a year before considering a new relationship. That made [italic]her[/italic] eyes bug out of her head.
I swear, It's always scared me that I'm one of the sanest lesbians I've ever met.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 19, 2020 5:07 PM |
R16, I was going to say the same thing. Their resemblance goes beyond the usual twinning that goes on with same sex couples. They look like the exact same person.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 19, 2020 5:11 PM |
Two hours until the flanneled one fucks the delivery guy.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 19, 2020 5:18 PM |
They look like creepy twins, or inbred sisters or cousins.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 19, 2020 5:20 PM |
Awww how cute; it's a phase girls, take it from me!
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 19, 2020 5:22 PM |
[R41] It's the near-interchangable nature of it that seems odd. As if one's approaching one's life as a casting director and "the girlfriend" role is vacant. As if any number of women might do.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | May 19, 2020 5:26 PM |
This is tiresome.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | May 19, 2020 5:33 PM |
"There’s always an ex lurking around..."
...and we all know that never happens with straight people and gay men!
by Anonymous | reply 48 | May 19, 2020 7:13 PM |
I don’t think comments about these two lesbians have been unnecessarily cynical, it’s simply an established fact that lesbians move in way too quickly, then argue over misinterpreted boundaries, fight, and then resent each other bitterly.
Gay men are simply more pragmatic when it comes to relationships.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | May 19, 2020 7:26 PM |
"Once years ago, when I was still young and cute..." R41
Wow, you win DL today with that quote. When was the last time a lesbian uttered those words? Do we have any evidence that a gay woman has ever said anything like that until now?
