No Darryl Hall addressed this way back in the early 80s. He said in an interview, with Rolling Stone magazine, John was not gay and that he (Darryl) tried gay sex but didn't like it and he now has a girl friend. And then he added "No, he and John never have had sex."

Darryl Hall was known to hire many young male escorts in NYC in the early 90's. He lived in West Village at the time.
