My best friend died of brain cancer when she was 37, so I know what his loved one are going through. Jessie may have made peace with it, but his family and friends definitely have not.

Seeing that he wrote that he may even live a couple of decades, it's probably an inoperable but not malignant tumor. A friend of my mother's has one of those for around 10 or so years. She's highly functional, she's a college professor. The tumor cannot be operated (that would kill her) but it's not malignant (doesn't methastasize).

She has to have it constantly checked and her quality of life has been somewhat altered, but all things considered she lives a normal life.

I doubt Jessie is a racist. I have met him a few times and NEVER did he give me that impression. Yes he uses steriods and there may be a connection to this type of cancer. He is fully aware of the risks of steroids because he has talked about it and always felt the risk was minimal compared to the benefits of a hot body.
