OP, there were many more men hunting and fishing back when women were relegated to domestic duties, bridge clubs, and nurseries than are today and there are fewer and fewer each year.
Rednecks are generally not hunters and fishermen, at least not serious ones. A weekend of duck hunting or blue water fishing can cost thousands of dollars in travel and equipment. Deer hunting can be cheaper but it’s still hundreds of dollars in equipment and if you actually shoot a deer you have several hundred dollars of butcher and/or taxidermy fees.
You should focus more on the NASCAR set, if you want rednecks to hate.
