ELON MUSK - Sleep Deprivation?

He is nuts R1, but that doesn't mean he isn't an effective business leader (AND BEFORE YOU SLAM ME, this is not the same as an effective government leader).

We will have to see.

Musk has presented the most formidable challenge to the Big 3 automakers in decades. I just hope his insane personality doesn't fuck up what may be a good business plan.

I read an article recently that outlines how he uses his shares as collateral for personal expenses instead of just outright selling them. The only reason to do this is to continue to control his company. I'm still on the fence if this is a good or bad idea.

Brilliant man, but the delusions of even greater grandeur than he possesses and the erratic personality make me think he's headed for a big fall.

A major automaker will buy Tesla and he’s going to lose it shortly thereafter when he no longer has control. Imagine a more heterosexual version of the Halston/JCPenney/Playtex drama.

I still like him, in spite of, and sometimes because of, the grandstanding/insanity. He's a COVID deplorable as far as restrictions go, but some of his ideas are visionary. With geniuses, you often get a real cocktail of good and bad ingredients.

The “pedo guy” thing pissed me off.

The man made a snarky remark about Musk’s plan to save the cave boys & rather than just ignore it like a big boy he snapped back by calling him a “pedo” for no sensible reason.

When the man sued, Musk hired an investigator to try and prove that he WAS a pedo, rather than just say sorry and bung him some cash.

I know Musk won in court, but even so the whole thing came across as unnecessary & childish.

He is a very brilliant man (I have a beautiful pic of the roadster headed to Mars on my fridge), but that hubris and ego will be his undoing.
