Does anyone really care?
Why is Hollywood trying to make Beanie Feldstein happen?

Ewwww. GROSS.

She's cute and likable.

She looks just like her brother, Jonah. He is fugly enough without having to introduce her into the picture. There is so much nepotism in Hollywood it’s vomit inducing. She is an untalented troll. And I thought Dakota Johnson and Rumor Willis were terrible.

I really care. She is hilarious and adorbs!

It helps that she's Jonah Hill's little sister.

I think she's quite talented, much more so than Jonah. Gay men in their 60s and 70s probably aren't the audience she's aimed at, however.

Was she supposed to be the new Fat Positivity Role Model before it was confirmed that being enormous greatly increases the risk of dying from CV19?

Loved her in Booksmart.

She's actually way more likable than her brother. Maybe it's nepotism but I'll take her over Jonah any day.

She's the new Lena Dunham.

No fan of Dunham, but at least she created, wrote, produced and directed her own show.

R12 Her show sucked. It was basically Sex and the City for ugly selfish entitled girls. It was awful. It helped that her parents are known in the pretentious art community.

I saw her in “Hello, Dolly!” on Broadway- she was hilariously funny and made the most out of an often thankless role.

R13: I admit that I've barely seen her show (just glimpsed a few scenes here and there) so I'm in no position to judge its merits, but conceiving your own TV show, developing plots and characters, setting up scenes, making production decisions and so on at least requires a certain amount of skill and hard work that people will easily dismiss and underestimate. I would respect that over someone who seemingly stumbled her way into a career as an actress and "singer."
