Can you restate that in English, OP?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | May 9, 2020 7:50 PM |
I did not know they were no longer together. I liked them as a couple (from a distance, obviously).
Sorry, OP: I can't answer your question, but she seems temperamental and "difficult." Maybe one of DL's resident psychologists can offer some insights.

That should be "IS Amanda Palmer a borderline"
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 9, 2020 7:55 PM |
She is a cheap, oppurtunisit with little talent.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | May 9, 2020 8:02 PM |
Isn't she married to Neil Gaiman, one of my favorite authors?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 9, 2020 8:03 PM |
R5 Sandman was good. His novels are weak.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 9, 2020 8:05 PM |
R5 They're separated as of a week ago or so. He went back to the UK, while she is still in NZ with their kid.
I've talked to Neil a few times. He's a nice guy and isn't a snob, despite his success. I've never met her, but I've also never liked nor understood the hype around her.
Now that you mention it, OP, she does have some borderline qualities.

So glad he is free of the cheap cooze. Pay ya musicians, cunt.

Not anymore.
Ta.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 9, 2020 8:18 PM |
Oh she obviously is batshit something. I like her as an artist, but if I was straight I wouldn’t fucking touch her with a ten foot pole. She crazy.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 9, 2020 8:26 PM |
She's upset her self-important ramblings have been upstaged by a global pandemic.
Can you imagine how much of an insufferable cunt one must be if their spouse jumps on the plane and flees one of the least infected countries for one with highest COVID-19 infection rates??
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 9, 2020 8:42 PM |
R13 Were they living abroad? Where was he fleeing from?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 9, 2020 9:32 PM |
New Zealand.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 9, 2020 9:35 PM |
She posted about their break up on her Patreon to her fans, without telling Neil who was blindsided on social media with requests for comments.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 9, 2020 9:39 PM |
R15 interesting. I had no idea they had left the country.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 9, 2020 9:41 PM |
Oh dear. Will they become our new Mia and Woody?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 9, 2020 9:44 PM |
R17 He has. She has not.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 9, 2020 9:46 PM |
It certainly wouldn't surprise me.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 9, 2020 9:49 PM |
R19 Well clearly at some point they BOTH left the country if someone posted about him fleeing from one country to another. YOU read the thread whore.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 9, 2020 9:51 PM |
He's claiming his account was hacked.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 9, 2020 10:34 PM |
R22 I'm guessing he was reading it on a device (like a Kindle) and didn't realize that Goodreads was connected to the device and updated it automatically.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 9, 2020 10:38 PM |
R31 He went from Oz to NZ and left this week for England.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | May 9, 2020 11:13 PM |
I don’t know of her so I googled images, and, let’s say she’s terrible. 90s tribal tattoo eyebrows, steampunk, a mouth with too many teeth. She looks insane.

They have (had?) an open marriage. Yup. Can you imagine how brilliantly great that works with a small child in the mix? One person on tour, or a book tour, and getting to play the field, and the other stuck home with baby? Total clusterfuck.

Neil Gaiman is so overrated. It makes me sad when people are fans. She's nuts too. Visibly. He left his other wife and kids for her. I do like her abortion song. And she's probably more talented than him. But pay your musicians.

Partner shade.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 10, 2020 6:17 AM |
At first I was on his side because I really like some of his works but then I hated him too.
In conclusion, they’re both dickbags.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 11, 2020 12:26 AM |
I've heard from people in the business that she is an insufferable narcissist

September 2015: Palmer and Gaiman have their son, Ash. At this point, Gaiman is also a grandfather. Palmer requests to Neil that they stop their polyamory and focus on their family.
2015-2019: The couple apparently begins struggling. Before the birth of their son, they had more freedom and did not spend as much time together in one place. Gaiman has said,
"The thing I hate most about our relationship is our respective calendars, we can never quite sync them up. We’re always travelling. Things can get stressful, more so now we’re parents. Once, we would just go off on our separate travels, do our things and then come back to one another, but now that we have Ash, one of us is always at home with him."

"The thing I hate most about our relationship" is never a good opening, Neil.

I've hated her since that stunt of crowdfunding a tour for over a million dollars then planning a show so messy that she offered to pay musicians with beer and hugs.

What's up with her eyebrows? It's a tattoo?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 15, 2020 5:44 PM |
Unclear whether they're tattoos or simply drawn on.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 15, 2020 5:57 PM |
r36 yes, it's a face tattoo. Some people are so ugly &/or crazy, they get face tattoos.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 15, 2020 6:14 PM |
Now we have her lengthy public statement, his lengthy public statement, and their lengthy public statement — all about how they need space to work things out in private.
The eyebrows are not tattooed, btw.

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
