I love Edie Falco, but her show was shit.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 6, 2020 10:07 PM |
Trump-loving beyotch.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | May 6, 2020 10:10 PM |
Wow.
Heaton's sitcom had an interesting premise and a great supporting cast. It wasn't horrible.
I didn't understand the point of "Man with a Plan". It just seemed to follow the formula where the husband is a lazy idiot and the wife is smart and bossy.
I don't think "Broke" has aired more than 3 or 4 episodes. Wasn't this the show that the network gave to Pauly Perette to make up for what happened with Mark Harmon on NCIS?
I never watched Tommy, even though the lead actress is talented.
So what the hell is the network going to use to fill these free 2 and a half hours?

Reruns of "The Apprentice."
by Anonymous | reply 5 | May 6, 2020 10:12 PM |
Yeah. The Edie Falco premier show put me off. I couldn’t finish it. I know that they have to do this. But the whole production is armed at selling you on the idea of the show. Tough likable hometown girl becomes chief of police, thwarting TPTB by using her street smarts to help the downtrodden.
I know it is supposed to be character development. It felt more like I was expected to lap it up because I liked her than really any effort to entertain me.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | May 6, 2020 10:24 PM |
TV is so horrible these days.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | May 6, 2020 10:31 PM |
Everything on "free" TV is so bad. All doctors/fire/hospital shows, forensic shows, or bad reality TV.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | May 6, 2020 10:35 PM |
Good. Venomous CUNT.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | May 6, 2020 10:37 PM |
I'm sure she'll have an other boring sitcom soon enough.
"The Barking Cunt of Suburbia," starring America's Sweetheart, Patty Heaton
by Anonymous | reply 10 | May 6, 2020 10:51 PM |
On her sitcom, her sidekick was a lesbian character, who was played by an actual lesbian.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | May 6, 2020 10:55 PM |
Edie Falco deserves better material anyway. I’d love to see her back on a cable show where she can be much grittier and show off the acting chops she has
by Anonymous | reply 12 | May 6, 2020 10:58 PM |
If that hot “doctor” from Carol’s Second Act needs any consoling, I’ll volunteer.
It’s a tough job but somebody’s gotta do it.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | May 6, 2020 11:43 PM |
Well Patricia had a good run with Raymond and The Middle.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | May 7, 2020 1:08 AM |
I liked Patty's cooking show on Food Network. I think it only ran two seasons but she made good food.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | May 7, 2020 1:24 AM |
The CW or Fox could pick it up along with Man With a Plan. They did it for Supergirl.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | May 7, 2020 4:13 AM |
I liked Tommy.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 7, 2020 4:20 AM |
R16 and Supergirl went to shit after that.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | May 7, 2020 6:18 AM |
She will blame the MSM and that conservatives are discriminated against in Hollywood.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 7, 2020 6:42 AM |
Why couldn't they cancel Young Sheldon instead?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | May 7, 2020 6:53 AM |
Is patrica really a Trump supporter?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | May 7, 2020 6:57 AM |
good bye cuntface
by Anonymous | reply 22 | May 7, 2020 7:02 AM |
I'm glad they didn't cancel "Bob hearts Abishola". It kind of ripped off Billy Gardell's previous show, "Mike and Molly": an unconventional couple with a host of over-involved, zany relatives and coworkers.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | May 7, 2020 7:05 AM |
Patricia Heaton is not a Trump supporter, and she used to be a Democrat. She no longer participates in politics. Her big issue is abortion; she is pro-life/anti-choice.
I liked Patricia Heaton in The Middle-I thing that show is hilarious.

Wait...what is this all about?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | May 7, 2020 7:07 AM |
The article linked in OP said Madam Secretary ended this season. Is there an unaired run of episodes still to come? I don't recall the last aired episode being any type of finale.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | May 7, 2020 7:09 AM |
Patrica wont hurt for $$$, she was recently on "The Talk" in quarantine, and she kinda showed off her house a little and it looks like she's done really financially from her career in sitcoms. So I wouldn't worry about her at all.
I'm sure she has at least $150 million in the bank. So she'll be fine.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | May 7, 2020 7:16 AM |
None of us are worried about Cunt Heaton r27. Thanks though!
by Anonymous | reply 28 | May 7, 2020 7:19 AM |
R26, did you see the episode of Madam Secretary (12/08/19) in which Stevie and Dimitri got married? That was the finale. They only did 10 episodes the last season. You can watch the last five for free on cbs.com.

[quote]Patricia Heaton is not a Trump supporter
She absolutely implied she voted for him in 2016 in a tweet which caused a stir because she'd said before that she wouldn't vote for him. She got into the typical kind of rightwing nutjob fights on Twitter that every rightwing nutjob gets into, until she took a break (probably at her publicist's behest) and many of her tweets disappeared. Last fall she started tweeting how she hated Trump but Obama was "just as bad" and the Democrats were "barbaric." I very much get the impression that she votes Trump but doesn't want to suffer the PR hit for admitting it, but who knows.
Her husband harassed two women on the show who both filed formal complaints, so I'm surprised it wasn't cancelled months ago.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | May 7, 2020 10:13 AM |
Many Trumpsters are so obsessed with making abortions illegal in the US, that overlook and justify Trump's action as acceptable. No doubt she is one.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | May 7, 2020 1:03 PM |
Fuck off, Patricia at R24.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | May 7, 2020 1:38 PM |
Her husband looks like a Trump supporter.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | May 7, 2020 2:13 PM |
R30 her husband looks like a creep.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | May 7, 2020 2:16 PM |
Patricia was on The View years ago talking about how she was raising her sons to be "good little Republicans". She also referred to household help as "servants".
by Anonymous | reply 35 | May 7, 2020 2:24 PM |
Patrica Heaton has always been trash. Lucky she was a sitcom actor, she could've never been a movie star.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | May 7, 2020 2:26 PM |
Broke was abysmally unfunny . Tommy was actually pretty good, but only because Edie could make an episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse interesting.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | May 7, 2020 2:27 PM |
Heaton's husband is a Brit. She used to have her family and her house on her cooking show.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | May 7, 2020 8:54 PM |
I’m glad that cunt’s show got fired, fundie bitch.
I hope she never gets another show on mainstream cable ever again. Let her go to some Jesus network like Hallmark and stay the fuck away from normal media.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 7, 2020 8:59 PM |
R30, I wonder what the complaint was about? Is he one of those men who hits the roof when a woman doesn't agree with his ideas?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 7, 2020 9:12 PM |
Her husband looks like a fat rapey cunt. She looks like a cunt.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | May 7, 2020 10:08 PM |
I was actually getting to like Tommy. I missed it during most of April because CBS seemed not to be showing any new episodes. But there were five new episodes, none of which I watched until I read this thread. It's a fairly decent soap opera, not a procedural, like most CBS crapulence.
If Blue Bloods isn't on, I don't go searching through CBS programs.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | May 7, 2020 10:13 PM |
R20, Young Sheldon is a smartly written, funny show with well-drawn characters that touches the heart from time to time, but with a feather and not a sledgehammer.
Carol was underwritten and overacted and had no idea what to do with its characters.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | May 7, 2020 11:32 PM |
Just watched the last episode of Tommy. It went out slam/bang; a satisfying ending; wrapped up the storylines yet left the door open for more. I wonder if there's a chance another platform will pick it up.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | May 8, 2020 7:23 AM |
I liked the way they ended Tommy, too, r44. I just wish that one person had still been alive.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | May 8, 2020 11:33 AM |
Which one, the one who got burned up?
