I’m a gay male, and I don’t like dick. I think they’re rather grotesque looking. I’m an ass guy, and by that I mean the shape of the cheeks not the hole. I don’t like holes either.

I like the cheeks and the hole. For dick I'm too particular to be satisfied and its not about size but shape and coloration and such.

I think the more intriguing question is why are gay men so obsessed with ass?

Growing up, I'd have never considered being aroused by someone's ass and especially not their asshole. Somewhere in my teen years, I saw a video of guys eating each other out and it was the hottest thing I'd ever seen. The hole was nice and pink and smooth and it just suddenly looked delicious to me. Not to offend, but if it does, oh well. At its heart, this is as stupid as asking why someone is gay? What does evolution have to do with straight men liking vaginas? People like what they like. PERIOD. I used to always hear people say male and female parts just "go together". Well if you've ever seen a video of two guys having intercourse from the underneath POV it's pretty obvious that the parts of two men also fit perfectly. Gay men like dicks because the dicks are attracted to the men to whom they are attracted. And stimulating said dick either orally or anally allows two men to connect (no pun intended) in a manner that I'm often led to believe can't be duplicated by female/male intercourse.

Because liking dick has something to do with being able to survive and breed, I guess. Being able to make a guy cum handsfree via penetration must have meant that guys with nice dicks were protected and more likely to survive. Keeping guys around with nice dicks must have meant extra protection for the man wanting the dick. Being protected means surviving means you are able to breed.

Why a gay man is turned on at the sight of dick is a mystery. Boobs go back to nursing. Heterosexuality you can figure out. Gay men being turned on by a floppy appendage and getting rammed doesn’t. There are lots of male animals who mount and fuck each other in nature. I don't know if animals who are being mounted get any enjoyment out of it, but the ones mounting obviously do. I've read that around 10% of male rams are exclusively homosexual, and will only mount other male rams. Homosexuality, whether it's in animals or humans, is just a biological anomaly IMO. I'm not sure that there's a "reason" for it per se, it's just something that exists.
