For instance are you more into a Steve Buscemi type than you are a Henry Cavill type? Or do you prefer James Corden over Jon Hamm.
Are you attracted to traditionally handsome guys or do you like guys with looks on the fringes
by Anonymous | reply 78 | May 2, 2020 11:26 PM |
I like SLIM guys with NATURAL bodies. Not muscular, not fat. No tattoos, no piercings, no rings and NO SHAVED PUBIC HAIR.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 29, 2020 5:39 PM |
Jesus OP - those are pretty extreme examples. Steve Buscemi and James Corden? Yuck.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 29, 2020 5:44 PM |
It depends. Some of the pretty guys are worth a fuck or two, but you have zilch to talk about afterwards. Then again, the same thing has happened with a lot of uglier guys, too. Trust me, there are very few who are pretty, good at sex, and can hold a conversation for more than a minute. If you've found one, never let them go.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 29, 2020 5:46 PM |
I agree with R1.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 29, 2020 5:55 PM |
No purple hair, no septum rings and preferably no tattoos (maybe one or toe can be overlooked.) I don’t date freaks!
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 29, 2020 5:59 PM |
Two*
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 29, 2020 6:00 PM |
When I was dating (ahem, sleeping around) I found myself attracted to a lot of different guys. I'm a talker and I ended getting to know guys a little more and they became more attractive by virtue of that fact. I used to mess around with this one guy whose teeth were pretty banged up but he was a hell of a lot of fun. I could also put up with a bit of fat, but not overweight.
Of course, now I'm an eldergay with too much around the middle but such is life.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 29, 2020 6:04 PM |
I’m finding really femmy boys who dress like slutty girls more and more attractive all the time.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 29, 2020 6:04 PM |
I do get off on regular guy looking porn over pretty boy porn.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 29, 2020 6:05 PM |
I like somewhat muscular and hairy guys--not ultra big and definitely not ultra shredded--who are clean and are traditionally handsome but with facial features that really stick out: fuller lips, good skin, thick eyebrows, sharp jawline, and preferably a small beard.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 29, 2020 6:07 PM |
I like the black men
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 29, 2020 6:30 PM |
I like nerds.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 29, 2020 6:40 PM |
I'm a sucker for bone structure. Young Nureyev is my ideal.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 29, 2020 6:43 PM |
My favorite are hot built men with almost ugly faces - something very masculine and sexy about that combo.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 29, 2020 6:47 PM |
I like guys who are beautiful, but in a somewhat peculiar, off-beat kind of way. Young Steve Buscemi is a good example. I also have a thing for German actor Sylvester Groth. And there was a porn actor a few years back who I thought was stunningly beautiful, but at the same time, there was something slightly odd about his features. It made him ten times hotter to me. Modelesque, perfectly symmetrical faces are boring to me.
And I love it when a guy's teeth are clean and healthy, but not perfectly straight ... a little gap or [italic]slightly[/italic] crooked teeth can be very endearing. Nobody should get veneers unless their teeth are COMPLETELY fucked up.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 29, 2020 6:51 PM |
I think Steve Buscemi is oddly sexy. I've always been attracted to quirky guys and the sex is usually great. Better than prettier boys.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 29, 2020 6:54 PM |
I'm always surprised at who I'm attracted to, in my younger, going out days it became a running joke that if a guy produced that certain "twinge" I would look down at my crouch and announce, "Really, him? Ok, if you think so", and proceed to pursue the desire of my higher power :)
by Anonymous | reply 17 | April 29, 2020 6:55 PM |
I like unbelievable “prettiness” like model twink Gavin Casalegno.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | April 29, 2020 6:57 PM |
R18 Oh god, that tagline of “My first quarantine selfie” makes me cringe about how many he will be taking.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | April 29, 2020 7:04 PM |
I like a guy like James Wolk. Definitely handsome, but in a sweet, boyish way. You can tell he stays in shape, but he's not out taking steroids and going to the gym for 6 hours a day. Guys that are too built freak me out. I don't find it that attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 29, 2020 7:04 PM |
Young Christopher Walken had that same interesting off-kilter look that young Buscemi had.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 29, 2020 7:06 PM |
there was a porn actor a few years back who I thought was stunningly beautiful
Who was he?
by Anonymous | reply 22 | April 29, 2020 7:14 PM |
I'm not attracted to either. Why are those our only 2 options?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 29, 2020 7:16 PM |
Him. Kyle Chandler. Him’s my type. Perfection. Good actor too.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 29, 2020 7:21 PM |
I’m usually attracted to handsome, hot, attractive guys. And young.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 29, 2020 7:23 PM |

by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 29, 2020 7:27 PM |
Nunya.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 29, 2020 7:34 PM |
Jon Hamm is a basic bitch that's a shower and possibly a grower. I never got hard from him in Mad Men or anything else he's done. He must full fill people's daddy issues since DL members would have been kids in the 60s.
Op, I prefer handsome men. Aaron O'Connell is my dream man.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 29, 2020 7:38 PM |
Exceptionally good looking people can be pretty fucked up by it. They can be arrogant because so many people want to be seen with them. They can also be horribly insecure because they don’t believe anyone wants them for themselves.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 29, 2020 7:47 PM |
Robert Deniro about age 40 was VERY attractive. Is he considered somewhat fringe or mainstream good looking?
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 29, 2020 8:36 PM |
Ideally? Pretty face that also looks sinister. I can't explain it well, but it just does it for me. Not serial killer sinister, but a face that looks like they'd be cast as the villain rather than the hero. And bone structure.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | April 29, 2020 8:46 PM |
Skinny, scrawny guys that are a bit fem - especially if they're a bit older!
Somebody posted in another thread
I mean, you won't find videos on PornHub of some hot stud blowing some 6 ft 2 150 lb elder gay with skinny legs spread wide open as he plays show tunes while singing along with Send In The Clowns.
I'd watch the shit out of that! With the sound off though
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 29, 2020 10:44 PM |
Good-looking and a nice personality is of course appealing, but I don't want them perfect. It's too unnerving. They must a flaw here and there.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 29, 2020 10:46 PM |
Those are pretty unappealing fringe types, op
by Anonymous | reply 34 | April 29, 2020 10:59 PM |
OP got it right, Henry Cavill all the way for me baby
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 29, 2020 11:02 PM |
Nobody is perfect. I can tell you that the good looking ones spend a lot of time in front of the mirror and take hours to get ready to go out
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 29, 2020 11:10 PM |
James Wolk is a very good choice, and so is Kyle Chandler. Though he's not the same type as those two, I'd also pick Liam Hemsworth.

Do you like John Cameron Mitchell?
by Anonymous | reply 38 | April 29, 2020 11:31 PM |
Dark, Pale and Gothic in appearance with a sort of El Greco type of face.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | April 29, 2020 11:42 PM |
Yes...
by Anonymous | reply 40 | April 29, 2020 11:54 PM |
I'm totally into the tall, dark, handsome type. The only time that I'm not into that type is when a guy gives off a strong sexual vibe.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | April 30, 2020 12:49 AM |
r41 What turns you off about that type if they give off a strong sexual vibe?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | April 30, 2020 1:18 AM |
That was confusing R42. My apologies. I am always into that type. When I am into types who don't fall into that category, they usually have to give off a strong sexual vibe.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | April 30, 2020 1:25 AM |
I don't even know what 'traditionally handsome' means now. Making it more complicated is some men's labeling as cute. beautiful, sexy, etc. as though they're mutually exclusive. I like a toned and height/weght proportional body, but the face is everything to me. Twenty years ago, I thought 'Vincent D'Onofrio was sex on a stick. Ten years ago, I felt that way about Wentworth Miller. Now that I watch more cable TV than movies or series, I look forward to Clint Watts, Hakeem Jeffries, Eric Swalwell and Nick Confessori. Kevin Costner is my favorite actor of my generation, and I have always thought he is beautiful. Still do,
by Anonymous | reply 44 | April 30, 2020 1:41 AM |
R44 again, and Sean Teale and Theo James have some of the most beautiful masculine beauty I've ever seen.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | April 30, 2020 1:46 AM |
I love hairy, beefy men the most mmmmm
by Anonymous | reply 46 | April 30, 2020 3:57 AM |
Sean Teale and Theo James
Who are they?
by Anonymous | reply 47 | April 30, 2020 4:22 AM |
Jon Hamm?
Jon Hamm is at the extreme low end of average looking.
The only thing he has going for him is that big bulge and that may not even be real.
by Anonymous | reply 48 | April 30, 2020 4:28 AM |
A young Sam Waterston is perfection to me. I find him so beautiful especially in Gatsby. Smashing. If we had been the same age and had been in school together I would have died from heartbreak.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | April 30, 2020 4:49 AM |
Well described, R14, a big hot ugly sexy monster, yeah!
Fuck yeah! He's gorgeous, you know my type. What an exquisitely beautiful queen
R51, I totally agree. He’s so gorgeous (and small) in person. In that picture at R51 he reminds me of Sean Hayes.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | April 30, 2020 3:48 PM |
I definitely have specific types that automatically turn me on. But if I’m being perfectly honest I find almost everyone except steroided gym rats and fatties attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | April 30, 2020 3:52 PM |
R53, yeah, I also fancy Phillip Schofield
But as R54 says I have a fairly wide range of attraction, excluding bears and the obese, but a few specific things will get my attention like gay voice and gay face, the fey and effeminate get me hard real fast
by Anonymous | reply 55 | April 30, 2020 9:51 PM |
r49 Sam Waterston is a good example of why I like something to be a little off in the looks department in the men I date. He looks like a sweet hound dog and I love him.
For hard sex appeal, I want a man to have a little ugly in his face. They work harder on other skills.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | April 30, 2020 10:02 PM |
Nobody prefers James Corden over anyone.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | April 30, 2020 10:03 PM |
r57 Corden ain't ugly, he looks like a giant gerbil.
by Anonymous | reply 58 | April 30, 2020 10:10 PM |
Have to agree on James Corden, does absolutely nothing for me
Franke Grande on the other hand I find extremely hot
Some DLers arent fans though
by Anonymous | reply 59 | April 30, 2020 10:14 PM |
I think James Corden is adorable - his body is a wreck however (I love beefy guys, but ones with a strong frame covered with a layer of beef; James is just sloppy fat).
I also think Jack Weston was very cute back in the 50s/60s, see him below as a taxi driver in "Please Don't Eat The Daisies". I have a thing for character actors with pudgy faces.

Same here.
I have a fairly wide range of attraction, excluding bears and the obese
That’s where you and I part ways. My tastes are very limited.
Franke Grande on the other hand I find extremely hot. Some DLers arent fans though
Alas I can’t stand him.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | April 30, 2020 10:38 PM |
Eeeeeew at James Corden. God no.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | April 30, 2020 10:38 PM |
OP, even James Corden's wife would choose Jon Hamm if she had her chance.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | May 2, 2020 4:32 PM |
I find so very many "types" attractive, from beast to average, even slightly overweight, and the pretty lads and blokes... Probably easier to articulate what I don't like... a Corden-type being one, anyone with a pug or piggy-nose really, blondes in general, the hairless, plucked, or shaved, too skinny, too plasticine.
I can find some odd looking types very sexy. (yeah, they can be ugly, I just feel ugly using that word.)
by Anonymous | reply 65 | May 2, 2020 4:54 PM |
I like a big slab of a man - fat, muscle, or preferably a combination of the two. 6'2 and over, 250lbs and over, covered in hair. Femme or masculine doesn't really matter though I dislike it when femme guys wear a ton of makeup and jewelry.
So long as he is a big and tall guy I am into him, regardless of race.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | May 2, 2020 5:05 PM |
I am not sexually attracted to femme guys, but they are so much fun to be around. The queenier the better.
by Anonymous | reply 67 | May 2, 2020 5:15 PM |
I hate "pretty" and "cute" and a conventionally handsome news reader or, worse, weatherman with Ken Doll good looks is a no.
Dark, brooding, a bit enigmatic, angular features, a good prominent nose (not a little Matt Damon school girl nose), some asymmetry or imperfection, not too cleanshaven, looks good dirty, obvious sexual energy. Handsome yes, but not too polished.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | May 2, 2020 5:42 PM |
R68 Sounds as if we share similar taste. I would describe the bloke in your pic as traditionally and conventionally VERY handsome however. Certainly he is much more attractive than most TV journalists, or weathermen!
Funnily enough, tiny baby noses of all sorts turn me off strongly as well. A strong or prominent nose is more important than many other features, or attributes.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | May 2, 2020 5:53 PM |
I know what I like when I see it. Good looking, yes, but I have no type per se.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | May 2, 2020 5:55 PM |
R58, what's a "school girl nose"?
by Anonymous | reply 71 | May 2, 2020 6:06 PM |
R69, yes most people consider Tom Hardy attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | May 2, 2020 6:36 PM |
I like healthy looking, handsome guys like Matthew Goode and James Norton. Not into bulky muscles, overweight or too much definition.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | May 2, 2020 6:53 PM |
I guess I like traditionally handsome men, but I realize my BF doesn't really qualify. I still think that just about anyone who meets him can't help falling in love with him. He's rather short and slim, and he's mixed race [black, white and Native American). He's smart and funny, and impeccably dressed. His skin is rather mahogany colored, and he has high cheekbones, and a very pert butt. The whole idea of traditionally handsome is overrated (IMO) because I really find all sorts of men attractive.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | May 2, 2020 8:49 PM |
I liked his look on the Fringe. It's too bad he's a Canadian with a smegma pouch.
