Is a person’s politics a dealbreaker in dating and/or friendship?
And furthermore, has this quarantine made you rethink your relationships (better/worse)?

Yes OP. Why walk on eggshells when discussing cultural and other issues with your lover. You can't discuss abortions, atheism, gun control, trade unions, social security, gun control, science etc. What will you discuss?....Or will you just open your legs and let him fuck you and turn over and sleep.

Absolutely - particularly for gays. Any gay that votes Republican has a screw loose. I'm not even going to debate it or list all of the awful things Republicans support.
Anyone who sides with people who are against you and your rights has mental problems. No other group votes for people who are against people for who they are. Yet we have about 15-20% of gays who signup to support their abusers year after year.
And you can't tell me gay rights is less important than other issues. It's as simple as that.

Yes, it matters. It might be one thing if the person is apolitical and doesn't care. I'd hope that they'd step up and fight for something they believe in, but that's a full-on dealbreaker. Dating someone who's a Trump fan or a social conservative sounds like pure hell. Why would someone actively vote against their own well being?

How often do you plan on having conversations on weighty political topics? And furthermore, who wants to conduct their lives with a Pavlovian audience? Don’t you want someone who challenges you sometimes? Maybe not about “LGBT equality”, but issues that are controversial for a reason?

OP, with respect to what has been going down in recent times, could you have any type of positive relationship with a Trump supporter? I think that answers your questions.

I wouldn’t want to have any prolonged discussions about Trump in any context, but especially now. I would prefer someone who wanted to hang out, watch movies, play games, eat, gossip, and fuck like rabbits. Not somebody who’s forever pressed over Trump.

Yes, it's a reflection of values.

Not before the Trump era! Now? Absolutely! Fuck every last trump supporter! Fuck their racist asses with a big brown cock!

Yes indeed, we too use "cookies." Take a look at our privacy/terms or if you just want to see the damn site without all this bureaucratic nonsense, click ACCEPT. Otherwise, you'll just have to find some other site for your pointless bitchery needs.
