One doesn’t replace a witch when the house has fallen on her.

Debbie would have been great, but she wasn't Be a. The character they had her playing seemed like she was a little bit too close to Blanche and that would have messed up the chemistry a bit.
That original foursome was just perfect lighting in a bottle and you couldn't replicate it. Take one away and it all comes tumbling down as we saw with The Golden Palace. The two episodes Bea came back were the only ones worth watching. It suddenly felt right again. They should have known it was time to pull the plug when they went to work the next Monday morning without Bea and things felt off.

R9: Great, an uptight Protestant redneck who thinks her fellow southerner is her slutty sister and her northern roommate is her daughter. And she keeps complaining about the Eye-talian sound like a Jew and going to that weird Cadillac church all the time. Ratings gold.
