Any girls you know with MS? Why do they die so young? Don't post any stupid links, wanna read first hand stories.
My friends daughter is 33 and has MS, she will be dead in 3 years

Sometimes MS can go into remission, so it’s not automatically a death sentence.

What are you talking about? MS does not directly lead to early death. It usually leads to progressive disability but does not generally shorten lifespan.
Did you mean ALS, or are you just seriously misinformed about multiple sclerosis?

I hear drinking Lysol while sunbathing could be a tremendous treatment against lots of diseases. She should look into that.

There are some very effective treatments for MS nowadays. Just in the last 10 years there have been huge advances.

MS is a degenerative disease. It doesn't necessarily lead to death. And why would you think only girls have it? I know Jack Osbourne has it.

I had a great aunt who lived with MS before dying in her seventies. She was wheelchair bound and curled up like a foetus for the last 12 years. Her quality of life was not great.

Pregnancy has been known to trigger remission, although temporarily.

I think I'd rather have MS than be forced to live in MS.

MS is disabling and can be agonizing but it does not significantly shorten lifespan

R9 Girls are 75% of MS sufferers. You have a 100% chance of being a repulsive cunt.

I know someone who’s had MS close to 20:years. She does occasionally have difficulty walking but other than that, she’s ok.

Yeah, but when was the last time you saw her dance, R16?

Men die of MS faster than women. She could hit remission and be fine into late life. I've got 2 female friends with MS: they do fine with medical marijuana. MS will get you a medical card faster than any other condition, save Parkinsons.

Not fast enough. That sleazebag Montel Williams is still here.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 27, 2020 12:29 AM |
Montel Williams was diagnosed with MS 20 or so years ago. He’s doing all right.
There are different types of MS.
Relapsing-remitting MS involves flare-ups of symptoms that cause severe pain and sometimes disability for periods and then subside, usually leaving some permanent damage with each episode.
Primary progressive MS is much worse: from the time symptoms begin, they just become increasingly worse and worse without any periods of remission, and people usually end up fully disabled.

My aunt had MS. It was the cause of her death at 77, in a family where most everyone lives into their nineties, and several lived past 100.
The daughter should try a vegetarian diet. I read a significant amount about MS, and a diet of whole grains, quinoa, fruit and vegetables is beneficial. I recommended this to a friend. The diet and a short work day (9-3) has helped his health tremendously.

My boss was in his sixties and got MS. He was actually a very kind man. Within eight months he was in a wheelchair and could hardly speak. Passed away shortly after. Shocked how quickly it took him. He was always very healthy and took care of himself.

Your friend’s daughter should be tested for Lyme disease.

There are several types of MS, and they degenerate at different rates.

There are different categories of MS, and different life expectancies. Everyone with MS is different. A friend of mine was diagnosed the year we graduated college. He lived until 50. He was functional for the first 12 years or so, then he needed a wheelchair, then he was pretty much home-bound. The last 2 years were difficult.

Actually, the majority of MS sufferers are adult women. But 25 percent is not an insignificant number of men.

My mother has had it for more than 45 years OP, and while she uses a wheelchair now, her survival was never in jeopardy. I don’t know if that’s what you meant b6 a story, but that’s mine.
