Brad Pitt!
by Anonymous | reply 1 | April 26, 2020 3:31 AM |
Fauci probably has a boner after seeing Pitt impersonate him.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | April 26, 2020 3:33 AM |
Yikes, Brad's pulling off the wig and getting serious. CRINGE
by Anonymous | reply 3 | April 26, 2020 3:35 AM |
I don’t know about Fauci, but I sure do.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | April 26, 2020 3:35 AM |
He should have left the wig on.
It looks the SNL crew must have shipped costumes and props to cast members.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | April 26, 2020 3:35 AM |
How is this stupid ass show supposed to make people feel better?
by Anonymous | reply 6 | April 26, 2020 3:40 AM |
This is awful.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | April 26, 2020 3:41 AM |
I think teenage kids could put on a better show.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | April 26, 2020 3:43 AM |
First skit: the long-running "What Up With That?"
And yet, Kenan has always - ALWAYS - said, "What's Up With That?" "What's Up" with an "s".
Does he have a learning disability or something?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | April 26, 2020 3:45 AM |
I'm not a huge Pete fan. But, this music sketch is pretty creative.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | April 26, 2020 3:48 AM |
He looks better than I've ever seen him. Less sunken eye look.
This show is much better that the previous attempt.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | April 26, 2020 3:49 AM |
Not even going near this after the disaster that was the first remote show.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | April 26, 2020 3:58 AM |
It’s much better this week, R12.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | April 26, 2020 4:06 AM |
Give it a try, R12. It's much better than the first one.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | April 26, 2020 4:07 AM |
Don't want to hear Miley Cyrus butcher Pink Floyd.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | April 26, 2020 4:09 AM |
Agree with R11 and R14. This week is much better than last.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | April 26, 2020 4:10 AM |
Funny, but as someone who actually watched the ABC show Turn On, this is like a current iteration of the ahead of its time fast paced video comedy show. It was a video taped fast paced Laugh In.
I kinda like it as a Live alternative.
But the Kate and Aidy skit with the "Bar-b-q" kit of a bottle of sauce, a knife and 400# live hog had me laughing out loud.

SNL's YT channel is not wasting any time putting tonight's cold open and skits up, they are all there already.

Pete should have done his piece nude.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | April 26, 2020 4:19 AM |
Colin looking damn fine again.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | April 26, 2020 4:22 AM |
I'm not 100% sure but I think that was Alex dancing topless in the upper-right-hand corner during Chloe Fineman's skit.

At first I was thinking what every gay man in America was thinking. Brad Pitt as Dr Fauci ? Also Brad strikes me as someone who doesnt rock the boat. He's going to get death threats from deplorables now. Very brave and made me love him even more. I thought it was nice how he took down the third wall and thanked the health care workers. I cried like a baby.
No comment about the exchange between Jost and Che who was pushed to say a really bad joke? Do you think it was planned or did it catch Che off guard?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | April 26, 2020 11:13 AM |
The Pornhub commercial was funny.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | April 26, 2020 2:02 PM |
I loved Miley. I could listen to her singing covers all day.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | April 26, 2020 3:44 PM |
“Whipped Strawberry Milk” was a fantastic joke.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | April 26, 2020 3:52 PM |
I loved the Chris Redd released from prison and horny skit as well as Kenan's OJ. Very funny.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | April 26, 2020 5:19 PM |
"Whiskers r We" was a delight.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | April 26, 2020 8:10 PM |
I don't think they were going for funny tonight, much more reflective, and much more polished.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | April 26, 2020 10:21 PM |
I liked it a lot, but Weekend Update is weird without a laugh track.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | April 26, 2020 10:33 PM |
So the joke was that Fauci actually joked, in a self-deprecating way, that Brad Pitt should play him in a movie, or something. So this was that. Without that context, it kinda loses any relevance.

Do a lot of the SNL people keep a home in Los Angeles? Can they afford that on an SNL salary?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | April 26, 2020 10:43 PM |
No, sweetie, @ r31, it becomes an in-joke and is even funnier.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 26, 2020 10:47 PM |
R32
Chloe Fineman seems to be staying with a boyfriend who rents or owns a house in LA. She did an instagram live video with Melissa Villasenor about a month ago and she showed a shed next to the house that had a bunch of props she uses/used at Groundlings and for her celebrity impersonation videos
Cecily Strong is from Chicago and seems to New York based. Kate McKinnon is from Long Island and lived in LA years ago before getting on SNL. I don't think she owns a second home in LA. She is probably a higher paid cast member. Aidy Bryant and her husband seem very New York based. Hard to tell with the rest of the cast.
SNL has been said to be one of the lowest paying acting jobs on TV. Past cast members have admitted this in the past. Tina Fey said in an interview that during the time she was on SNL, people on MadTV made more than she did.

[QUOTE] I don't think they were going for funny tonight
One hopes not...
by Anonymous | reply 35 | April 26, 2020 11:24 PM |
I thought Kenan’s place looked like Florida and indeed, he has a house in Tampa.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | April 26, 2020 11:31 PM |
Alex stepped out on his balcony in one shot, which made me think he lives in the city.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | April 27, 2020 2:09 AM |
A third at-home episode airing tomorrow, which also serve as the season finale:
by Anonymous | reply 39 | May 8, 2020 2:39 AM |
is there a thread for tonight's episode?
by Anonymous | reply 40 | May 10, 2020 3:20 AM |
Who wants to see this low budget crap?
I heard ratings were terrible after people sampled the first one.
