Stable Genius Throws Georgia Governor Under The Bus

As it became clear that the majority of Georgians and many corporations who donate to the GOP did not approve of Governor Kemp doing exactly what he thought Trump wanted, Trump threw him under the bus, telling reporters he "strongly disagreed" with re-opening the state.

Suckers like Kemp never learn

What's amazing to me is POTUS speaks of loyalty and respect all the time, but gives ZERO - even to his staunch supporters. Time and time again, he's slammed Rep politicians, Fox News, etc.

And yet they all lick it up. They really live to be abused.

LOL.

Let's just hope the cheeto-loving deplorables in Georgia turn on Kemp at the say so of their glorious leader.

Dogs and fleas, baby. Dogs and fleas.

He is extremely disloyal.

I was asked today about Kemp. I live in DeKalb County GA. I said he took office in 2019 so he's not up until 2022. But if Biden taps Stacey Abrams as Veep who's left on the left?

R9: Just concentrate on flipping the Georgia General Assembly this November. Democrats in the majority can then hold this illegitimate bastard to account.

Yeah, this was an amazing reversal for Trump, and of course he pretends that it’s no reversal at all.

by Anonymousreply 12April 24, 2020 1:29 AM

He doubled down on dissing Kemp today

Why Kemp though?

by Anonymousreply 14April 24, 2020 1:53 AM

Kemp knows he's fucked up, but he doesn't know how to get himself out of this at this late date without looking like an even bigger fool than he already does, so he's just going to let it happen. Thankfully most businesses here in Georgia have said they have no intention of opening back up on his timetable. Even many churches have said no way, not now.

But, as I've said before, Kemp has sealed his doom. He'll be a one termer and this colossal cock up will be the reason why.

by Anonymousreply 15April 24, 2020 1:53 AM

Trump is for Kemp opening up. He told him he has to react negatively to the news, but if it works he will be a plus for republicans.
