I could only get a few m minutes into it. It was just too tedious and self-reverential. I will say, though, that I read a few bios on Alexander McQueen, and, surprisingly, Naomi came off as being very genuine, kind, considerate, sincere, and loyal. That could be one reason for her longevity; she is well-liked.

I guess I am the only one here who enjoys the interviews, especially the ones with Christy and Cindy. I like hearing stories about Herb Ritts, Alaia, Versace and the fashion people from the 90s. Makes me all nostalgic...

I have to say she's not doing herself as a brand any favours by not engaging a voice coach to help her delivery. She sounds like she's higher than God and wouldn't know how to complete a sentence if it fell in front of her. And I like her!

I was in my late teens when supermodels were huge. I started reading Vogue while in an art school, mostly for the gorgeous photography but was a total fan of Linda. I just spent half an hour watching supermodel runway walks when she was at the top and there's no denying she did look great. However now that I'm close to 50 and with everything going in the world everything about supermodels feels so vapid and idiotic. That said I'll probably watch some of those Naomi webcam shows when I have more time. I mean I want to hate the whole fashion world but still when I noticed that The Devil Wears Prada was on some time ago I just had to start watching it.

Naomi has been mainly banging rich guys and appearing here and there based on her supermodel status. In Making the Cut she's been announced as a British Vogue contributing editor which sounds like a total vanity title but tells she hasn't really created any new career besides modeling. Still, she is a superstar and unlike Linda she hasn't faded away but has kept herself current. I'd still say Tyra is a much bigger deal now.
