Her Southern California accent and vocal fry was grating, and completely unprofessional. If I had no idea who narrated this documentary, I would've thought "who the hell is this vapid-sounding woman with the horrible upspeak? WTF was Disney thinking?"

I started watching one of the episodes of Earth at Night. The narrator was so emotive, I couldn't watch it. Someone should have told her that the images convey the tension or whatever in a documentary, not the narration. I hope this isn't a new trend. I love well done documentaries.
