I watched her new film "Swallow" last night (and no, she doesn't play a cum-guzzling whore, but rather a woman with pica), and was legitimately impressed by her performance. I also thought she was quite good in "Kristy", which came out a few years ago. Do you think she is more than the "discount" Jennifer Lawrence label? I know she had a kid with Joe Wright, which is kind of iffy.
I just watched Swallow yesterday and I thought she was great. Haley's also in The Girl On The Train.

R1 I forgot she was in "The Girl on the Train"—I actually saw that in theaters, but I didn't care for it that much. It was a pretty routine thriller from what I recall. I'd have to give it a revisiting to see what her performance was like.

Her Instagram page is insufferable. She seems to envision herself as a 19th-century farm wench who milks cows, bakes bread in an artisanal brick oven, and spends her days roaming the English countryside collecting twigs to make decorative head wreaths. Joe Wright (her hideous director boyfriend who left his wife to be with her) has clearly afforded her a lifestyle where she can cosplay a wood nymph and toil away decorating their twee English country estate.
