TASTEFUL FRIENDS: An Venetian Mansion Right Off The Grand Canal
Not ON the Grand Canal as the video title claims. Palazzo Dona Giovanelli was sold in the last 2 years for 12 million Euros and exquisitely turned into the luxury Hotel Palazzo Giovanelli. But even in its former state it was a wonder to behold.
The upkeep on those old places must be horrendous, what with the constant infusion of moisture from the canal and the yearly floods.

Here it is in its new incarnation as a grand Hotel. I'd love to know how many millions it cost to do the renovation.

Where is it listed for sale in 2020? In fact, you miss several fundamental concepts of these threads.

It’ll be a real wonder to the divers who discover it on the ocean floor in a few thousand years.

Venice may have been a chic hip place to live in the 1950s or before. Now it would be painful - swarmed with tourists and Knick knack shops. Plus the flooding. The whole place is a waterlogged museum now.

R5 - totally agree. I would hate to be a local in Venice. Constant crowds and limited space - I'm hard pressed to think of any place on Earth where tourism would so completely overrun your daily life.

The house is not as nice as the one belonging to my father and his mistress.

I hate what the hotel has done to this palazzo. Where are the frescos? Why is all the fabulous plaster work covered in white paint? I watched OP's video before seeing the hotel's website and imagined that the buyers would keep the historical details and install understated furniture that wouldn't compete with the gorgeousness of the original house.
