He's has been noticeably tipsy many times on his show. This is nothing new.

Stephen Colbert is a lazy, closet homophobe (and no, I don't mean he's gay) who only hates Trump because everyone else does. He does look good, but it's cancelled out by that and other stuff. Stay home and suck on that bottle like it's Les Moonves, Stephen.

Interesting. I think Colbert is better striped down, low props. I still miss the colbert report. He is better now than ever, without a large team and set. He is helping us through this, just like what he did during the Bush administration.

We need SMART government, not cruel and unusual and beyond stupid government.

I don’t get these people drinking at home before their show. I’m a big drinker - but I don’t ever drink anytime near work. I also don’t drink at home - which maybe is a bigger thing for celebs because they can’t go to a bar to drink. Maybe we are just seeing the reality that a lot of these celebs are alcoholics - who drink at home.

Straight or gay, drunk or teetotaler, Colbert is (and has always been) absolutely fucking brilliant. Just my opinion, but I stand by it.

R4 I don't watch Colbert so I don't really care, but honestly, making a joke about Trump sucking Putin's cock is not homophobic. Fuck, people need to lighten-up. If he said Trump is a fucking fag, or a fudge packer, or a poop pusher, yeah okay.....Can we stop going out of our way to be offended by things.

Colbert recently had on Chuck Schumer. Trump commented, referring to Colbert's "stupid" show, stating, "Where is Johnny Carson?" (I.e., wistful for the days of quality night-time TV.) Colbert cues up an old Carson monologue: "Don't worry about Gennifer Flowers; ... she got a new job today as a Donald Trump backup mistress."

(Gennifer Flowers was Bill Clinton's former mistress.)
