Is it safe to say that with the shuttering of tattoo parlours in the short term and the ongoing need for social distancing will end this long-running fad once and for all?
Tattoos and Covid-19

Well, you can’t get a tattoo now. It’s not safe to try to get one.

One can only hope. But doubtful.

No, OP.
No different than getting a haircut. Once things open up they’ll be back in business. Bad taste and all.

God, hopefully. It may at least make some people stop and think before they start doing certain things to their bodies and their blood stream. I can imagine though, that there are other idiots, who, when the lockdown is lifted, will rush out to get a tattoo in "celebration".
Hopefully many of these so-called "artists" wil be put out of business.

[quote]No different than getting a haircut.
Last time I had my hair cut I don't recall needles piercing my scalp repeatedly, leaving it sore and bleeding.

Isn’t this a disease that can only be contracted via the respiratory system?

That’s not what I meant, r5.
I meant as far as proximity to the person.
If you’re close enough to the barber, a tattoo parlor will be the same thing.

We can hope — but unfortunately, probably not. Pity. The allure of these dreadful tats is puzzling.
