This was pretty bad. He is trying to conflate the creation and dissemination of the tests, which the Fed’s bungled first some reason; with the actual testing of individuals. I imagine that he his trying to put the states on the hook for for the Fed’s bungled and delayed response in creating the tests and disseminating them to the states. The journalists should explain to the public the difference.

As for the threat to “walk off”, the reporter should be polite but persist. Call his bluff. It would not be good for Trump, but more to the point, the Press has to stop being intimidated by him. They can’t do their job if they are afraid of him.

President Trump is using the coronavirus news conferences as, in part, campaign rallies. Because the coronavirus has left him unable to hit the road and give stump speeches, the daily press briefings allow him to get his message out to the American people. This clearly matters to him, as he often talks about his “ratings.” Much of his briefings are used to talk about how well he has handled the crisis.

You would think that the president and his team are so pressed for time that they don’t have two hours each day to spare. But Trump has clearly made these briefings a priority, as he is out there front and center every day.

Everything that follows after that would be much like the Impeachment and Trial we just saw fizzle out and die.

This Amendment is designed for an elective medical procedure the President knows s/he is about to undergo, or for an unplanned medical event that incapacitates the President. In either event, as soon as the President decides he is able to resume the office, he just puts that in writing and the powers are restored.

The problem, as I see it, is that the "inability" cited in the original text is hard to define as "being an evil cunt who needs to be killed with fire".
