I was on ATKOL all through its heyday, from 1996 to 2001, and what's being described here as happening on ATKOL never happened.

First of all, posters on ATKOL were usually very polite and supportive until the end, mostly because everyone had monikers and so you knew who everyone was. if you were too negative you'd get called out on it.

Posters were mostly also very supportive of porn stars.
